"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"Wir waren 2 Wochen auf der abgelegenen Farm und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Man hört natürlich gelegentlich die Schafe. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Bis nach Keswick fährt man ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Matthew, der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. We spent 2 weeks on the outlying farm and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Of course you can hear the sheep occasionally. The house offers plenty of space and is lovingly furnished....

"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "The Larches provided us with everything and more for a tranquil walking holiday Easter break. We enjoyed the idyllic surroundings and views, multi level garden teaming with wildlife. "We found the property to be exceptionally well-equipped in every respect except for the lack of Wi-Fi. This was a disappointment for us, and I suggest the Wi-Fi should be removed from the listing if it is not available. We loved our time at the property, especially the walks into Keswick along the river, hill walking and bike rental."
