"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"A nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It has all the necessary amenities for a quick get away in the woods. Perfect place if you are wanting to have fun in the snow during winter. The host is extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. We are definitely going to re-consider this place for our next visit to Alta Sierra."

"Hidden gem! Tastefully decorated, has everything you need and more. Clean, cozy, comfortable for a small family or a couple. "Beautiful property and an amazing 1st visit to the national forest. We will definitely be back for a stay in warm weather to hike more trails. The snow made the area really magical as there were hardly any other people around while we hiked the area. My kids loved sledding in the little hills in the yard. My husband and I appreciated the attention to detail in the cabin. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully curated for travelers."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cute A frame. Everything was as described in the listing. Very clean, well maintained, comfy bed, nice linens and towels. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Peaceful location with easy access to Lake Isabella and Kernville. The host was very helpful and gracious. We would stay here again."

"We spent a week up at this beautiful cabin. Originally we had planned to go to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks, but decided that a 2.5 to 3 hr drive each way was a bit far. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. Don't miss the Trail of 100 Giants! It was the Sequoia experience without the crowds. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and other needs. We loved it up here and would come stay again!"

"As mentioned by others, the actual experience is so much better than what you see in the photos!! Fishing right from the back of the house is amazing and watching rafters float by while relaxing out back was super enjoyable for the whole family! Can’t wait to visit again!"

"We had a great time renting the cabin. The area is very quite and beautiful. It is exactly what we were looking for- R&R away from home. The cabin had everything that we needed. Dee, the hostess, was super helpful as well! I will highly recommend renting this cabin!"

"My husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. My daughter has also been asking to go camping for at least a year and we weren’t ready to buy all the equipment. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY. And Im not the picky kind of person. I wikl give one example ( there were others ); inside the dishwasher, there were used dirty plates from someoelse. I rest my case. Would never stay again and do NOT recommend. By the way, we stayed thefe withiut even having checked in. When leaving, again thede was noone there and I just left the key there. It was already paid."
