"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"The air and heater worked excellent, although shower was smaller then I would like the shower pressure was amazing. Jeremiah and the lady I forget her name was very nice and answered all the questions I had very attentive "

The Kern River scenery is beautiful; the lodge is right across from the river. Perfect for our family of four -- we all got a good night's sleep and woke up ready to explore."

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cute, very clean,updated motel. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully updated. The shower was huge! The bed was comfortable, and the room had a Keurig with coffee pods and biscotti. The grounds are well taken care of and clean. The pool was lovely. I really liked the older feel of the property. The sign states the property originated in 1955. It has a lot of charm and I really liked the character of the place. There...
