"We stayed the night without having any contact with the staff. The room key was in a lock box. The code was emailed to me. A steep staircase led to the second floor. The room was larger than I expected for a Japanese hotel in that price range."

"The place is very quiet. The location is good. The common area on the 2F was very nice, and confortable. There is nobody working there. They sent me a message in japanese explain how to make a self check in. I’m not japanese, they shoud send me in english. "セフルチェックインってのが少し不安でしたが事前登録してたのでスムーズにチェックイン出来ました。"

"夜の時間にフロントが無人。部屋もトイレも風呂も汚れていた。"

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The area was clean, and the property provided helpful instructions for garbage disposal, transportation, and places to go nearby. This is an amazing location that is extremely close to Shinjuku downtown, and many other cities by train. The property was extremely responsive, and supported us through check in processes. I would recommend this stay! Thank you Gennoya!"

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."
