The hotel is a 5 min walk from Shiomi station, which makes it quite convenient, though attractions are at least 20 mins away and there isn't that much to do in the area, but on the flip side this also means it's nice and quiet and there's no squeeze to get into the train. Daily transport using the suica cost about 1000-1500yen. There is also a maruetsu/supermarket near the station, and a family mart in the hotel itself, which makes it easy to get a late night snack. We also noticed that it's somewhat cooler than the other areas in Tokyo.
Property is beautiful, clean and new; did not trigger my dust allergies and eczema. The daily cleaning was always timely. The room is also spacious for Tokyo and comfortable. For those who prefer colder sleeping temperatures, the air circulation is not the best, as the fan in the aircon is a bit weak even when maxed.
In terms of the amenities, the soaps (hand, shampoo, bath) are all very drying, you might like to bring your own soap. The toothbrushes are also very stiff and may cause your gums to bleed. There are some decent self service items you can get at the hotel reception area such as combs, rubber bands, cleanser, toner, moisturiser, and shaving kits. You can also pick up some teabags there. There is free nespresso and water in the room.
Breakfast is pretty good for the price of SGD$19/day for 2. The selection is decent and the items are tasty.
Check in/out was relatively quick and they have a luggage delivery service.Good service
