Farmhouse with Mountain Views Near Stowe/Smuggs
Welcome to Windy Willows, an 1860’s farmhouse and retired horse farm. Nestled on 130 acres of undeveloped land, this beautiful farmhouse has incomparable views of the Green Mountains.
Easy access to the rail trail, the long trail, Johnson Center, and 20 minutes to both Stowe and Smugglers Notch where you’ll find world-class skiing, restaurants, breweries, and much more.
Ski storage and electric vehicle charging available.
Bright house with plenty of space for groups to unwind after a day of skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or exploring the local towns.
Main floor has a well-equipped kitchen and dining space for 6 - 10 people with sweeping views of the mountains. There is a large living room and a cozy wood-paneled den with vaulted ceilings, plenty of board games, and a TV where you can connect to your streaming services.
The three bedrooms upstairs comfortably sleep 6 and there is one full bathroom. There is a queen sleeper sofa in one of the bedrooms as well as one in the den.
Two of the bedrooms boast dedicated workspaces and the entire house is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Full-house fan system can be controlled by guests.
In the summer enjoy the deck, vast lawn, and gas BBQ.
Please note that the wood stove and fireplace in the house are not functioning right now.
Guests will receive a personalized code to unlock the door ahead of reservation.
Hosts will be available at all times by phone, text, or email throughout stay.
Car is necessary. Plenty of parking on-site.
House is equipped with a level 2 EV charger available for use by guests.
This property is equipped with a automatic standby generator, providing heat and power under any weather conditions the Vermont seasons may bring.

Although visible in photos, the wood stove and fireplace are unavailable for use due to mandated insurance requirements. This house is heated by a modern heating system.
This property contains surveillance cameras located on the outside of the building. These cameras have visibility to the front, rear and sides of the house and property. This property is equipped with sound volume monitors and motion sensors. The motion sensors are part of the house alarm and security system used when the house is vacant. The sound volume monitors will provide the property owner indications if the sound levels exceed an expected neighborly sound level inside.
