"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "What a beautiful place to stay! Our entire family stayed for a week! We had an amazing stay with all the comforts of home!! The home was very clean and clearly well taken care of! The backyard was also very nice and fenced in! Though we didn't bring our dog, we easily could have and I would've felt comfortable with her in the backyard while we ran about town! "
