"From walking in to the hotel and being greeted by a friendly, patient, and smiling face; to entering our very clean and fresh room, I was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, though a bit loud. The bed helped me sleep very well through the night. The room was basic and just what we needed, considering we would only be sleeping there. "This is a terrible property. My family and I had the worst experience. Bed bugs, no hot water, toilet clogged when we first got into the room. Toilet was very dirty. Ans the staff if very dismissive about complaints!!! We will never stay here again!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"We had an amazing time at the Blackhawk. I haven’t been in many, many years. The service and cleanliness still remain perfectly the same. The staff goes above and beyond. The other guests have been coming year after year during the 4th of July weekend/week and are very respectful and pleasant.
