Family Getaway

Great Property
Fantastic location - 10 minute walk to festivals. Beautiful grounds with HUGE yard. Enjoyed the pool, ping-pong, and outdoor kitchen. Enormous suite as well as large bedrooms throughout the house. Modern amenities. Responsive property management. Could not recommend highly enough.

Excellent Property, Ordinary Property Management
We really enjoyed our stay at the house, but our experience was mixed, to be fair. The home itself is outstanding. It looks just like the pictures. Beautiful grounds and an outstanding master bedroom. It is spacious and nicely decorated. The management at first seemed very responsive for the most part. After checking in, we asked if there we more hangers available, and a little later, brand new hangers appeared at our front door which was so nice. However, really good management is proactive and not reactive. It soon became clear that no one from the management company had done a walkthrough of the property for quite a while. A drawer in the master closet was in pieces when we checked in and all the towel hooks in one of the bathrooms were off the wall, one was inside a drawer. There were many, many signs of wear and tear that a professional management company should have addressed. The most frustrating experience we had was with the Sonos speakers by the pool. Music was barely audible, even if you were sitting next to the speakers. We inquired multiple times about the low volume over the first few days of our stay and were dismissed each time - no other way to put it. The response was that there are strict noise ordinances for the area that can't be violated. Meanwhile, for three consecutive days, the people in the neighboring property - which is managed by the SAME company - were throwing huge parties. We could hear their music but not ours, and there were people literally throwing up in the street outside the house. However, the answer for us was we couldn't violate the noise policy. It was lazy management and it seemed like they were running it remotely, only dispatching vendors for issues. When they realized we were losing patience, they finally sent someone over and he witnessed there was a real problem with the volume settings and corrected it. The bottom line is that the house is really great, but they really need to step up their game. There are a lot of missing details. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils, etc. but missing a lot of staples like olive oil, red pepper or chip clips, etc. The pool is wonderful, but there wasn't one noodle or float (there are 3 now, and a pump - you're welcome). It would be nice to have a remote for the garage door rather than an app. These things didn't necessarily stop us from enjoying the house, but I wouldn't be comfortable renting from the same company again based on our experience.

Amazing property for big families
The kitchen was well stocked, pool was awesome and kids were very happy. Beds were very comfortable. We almost missed the “secret” bedroom inside the kitchen pantry- but glad we didn’t. Everything about the house was comfortable and entertaining. We would definitely rent again. Property management was amazing-very accommodating and always available. Hats off to them.

Amazing Ladies Relaxed Birthday Getaway!
We would absolutely book this place again! What a stunning oasis for quality time and relaxation :) The kids had a blast playing putt putt & playing in the pool! The ladies got a nice moment of R&R with sunny fun in the pool and calm sunsets with a hot tub dip :) I highly recommend this property! The management company was very welcoming and available for any questions or needs and responded very promptly and efficiently :)

Simply sublime
I cannot say enough amazing things about this property and the management. Everything was perfect. From the fire pit to the volleyball court. We spent our days in the pool and the hot tub. We cooked and grilled every day. The bedrooms were so great. The primary bedroom is gorgeous - from the sitting area, walk-in closet and the giant and luxurious bathroom. Bunk beds for the kids were a hit. Any small issues that we encountered were fixed immediately. We could not have been happier. We will definitely be back.

Great place for lots of people, beautiful outdoor space
We had a large family gathering and had a great time. The place is cool and the backyard is gorgeous with the fire pit, volleyball court, etc. There were a few kinks (issue with shower, ice maker) but the service makes up for it. You just send a message and a repair guy came the same day and they sent water and ice. Fun place to stay.

Great property, amazing back yard
Had a great time with our family vacation, communication with the property manager was top notch. Great backyard, with great pool, we were able to run around, do smores by the fireplace, play soccer, play ping pong, do the jacuzzi at night. Such a good time. Thank you!

This home was everything it said it was and more! Host was amazing in pre, stay and post-stay communications. We came prepared so only had to leave the house once in four days to go play golf :)! We filled the house with our family and made some amazing memories! Well worth the investment! Alreeady planning next visit so try not to book in April please...

Beautiful and fun property!
The property is beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. The backyard was definitely the biggest hit, we played games all weekend and would still be there having daily volleyball tournaments if we could! We had a few questions come up throughout the weekend and the host and entire staff was very helpful in getting us what we needed and having things checked out. We can't wait to be back!

Killer House - The Best Backyard Ever
The management company is wonderful to work with; very accomodating and polite. They checked in with us at least twice a day to make sure we were taken care of. The house is unreal. It is very private, the rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable, and the most impressive feature is the backyard. The landcaping is perfect, the sonos system is great, the pool, the HUGE lawn, the multiple sporting goods (football, cornhole, ping pong, volleyball, frisbee, etc) were fun to use. We really had a great time.

Great rental for family
My family of 5 rented the house for a week. The property is very large and a nice pool, hot tub, volleyball court, huge lawn, and ping pong table. The house could easily hold two families. Nice TVs in every room, comfortable beds and linens. Highly recommend the house.

The Perfect All-Inclusive Stay
Everything about this house was fantastic. Cleanliness was superb, the house layout is open and functional and very comfortable for a large group. The yard and outdoor living areas are as good as it gets. You don’t have to leave the house for anything.

Terrific place and stay, but...
Ok, the good- The place is lovely, comfortable, and super fun. It's as nice or nicer than the photos. All of our guests loved it. Well decorated, beautiful pool, good (and HOT!) hot tub, lovely space and grounds. Funky decoration, absolutely massive master suite, adequate kitchen-ware but do bring your own spices, oil, etc if you're planning on cooking. Received a text message on arrival to ask if everything was going well and if we had everything we needed. Good prompt communication from management. The bad- The drip coffee maker did not function properly and we were forced to make pour-over coffee into a thermos for 18 people. Management did pledge to replace this for the next guests. Some things were missed on the cleaning before we arrived like half eaten pork rinds leftover around the fire-pit. This was minor but noticeable. Sections of the lawn were weirdly not cut, but neither the guests nor dog cared much. The weird taste leftover- Upon leaving we left an item behind. They were kind enough to send it back to us at our cost plus a $25 handling fee. I found this a bit tacky and reminded them of our trouble with the coffee maker and they ultimately agreed to waive the $25 fee. Then a week after we left I received a message from the company we used to insure the vacation rental notifying me that a claim was being processed. This surprised me as we left the place in immaculate shape and followed all of the check-out procedures. The only damage we caused was to a very cheap plastic throw-away type adirondack chair near the fire-pit that broke. Management notified me that they found three broken cheap throw-away plastic adirondack chairs and that they were in fact submitting a claim to insurance. My girlfriend assured me that at least one of them was broken when we arrived, and I have no idea about the third one. Mgmt asked me to sign off on this or else I would be billed for the damages. My take-away from this is that they offer these insurance policies to renters and then, if you purchase one, will use them to cover damage that you may or may not have even caused. I am leaning toward signing off on their request but just found the whole situation tacky. If they invested in decent furniture around the fire pit consistent with what the rest of the house has, there would be no broken plastic and no claim. The experience had a bit of a "nickel and diming" feel to it, especially after dropping over $10K on a weekend stay.

Beautiful property for a family retreat and get together. We absolutely loved it.
We had a wonderful time on the property....it had everything for all of us. We range from 78 to 9 years of age....The only complaint I would voice (and which you had no control over) was the weather, but even with the cold and wind, we found plenty to keep us entertained indoors. It mets all of our needs and more. The staff we encountered were professional, accommodating and friendly. To put it bluntly, we are considering repeating at the same time next year, traffic be damned. When would be the best time to put in our reservations when we confirm with the rest of the family?

Nice stay in the desert
Our extended family recently stayed at this property and the house was perfect. Large, with an excellent layout, perfect outdoor space, nice kitchen and living space, etc. The owner/manager was super accommodating with a few things we needed. Will be staying here again!

A private family resort!
My husband and I wanted to take our children and grandchildren on a vacation. With the help of our son and daughter-in-law we found Strut Oasis. It had the right amount of space for us and we were drawn to the decor. It was all we could have hoped for. Any questions or issues we had were immediately answered by or taken care of by our personal Guest Services Manager. She even came out late the first night when the pool heater seemed off. It was definitely a vacation we will long remember and we would not hesitate to go back.

incredible property, wonderful service
We had an incredible stay at this property. It was newly renovated and very clean with great space to accommodate our large party. Equally impressive was the interaction and communication from the staff - we bugged them with questions ranging from itnernet, to heating the pool, to garage clickers and everything in between... they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful and gracious. Looking for another opportunity to travel to the dessert again and would certainly stay at this property once more.

The only thing better will be coming back next year!
Our family called it Desert Delight before we got there and it turns out we were not even close to describing how much better than that our time actually was! We'd been planning for years how to bring our children and grandchildren together for some special family time between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We wanted somewhere with great weather for our OH and TN based family members and for a unique non-big city experience for our Los Angeles based family members. When we saw the pictures and then connected with Jen we knew this was the place to go! The amenities and grandeur of the home and grounds were spectacular and she handled all of our questions and concerns as a real professional who genuinely cared about filling our needs and desires more than about just getting a booking. We had an opportunity to be in the area a month or so before our event and she connected us with Kamilla, an incredibly warm and engaging woman, who made us feel like we were all part of the same big, happy family and this was going to be our home during our time there. Well, it was, and everyone, from the grandkids who were too young to talk to the adults who wouldn't stop talking, had the best time together we have ever had. Everything we needed was there; truly something for every one of every age and every interest, and we took advantage of every moment to enjoy it. Even the laundry and dishes were fun! We're already planning for the same time and same place next year! You can have a better time, but you'll have to go back to there to do it!

A great place to celebrate with friends
We really enjoyed our time at this home. The home's decor is top notch. The master suite (more like the master wing) is massive and would make for awesome photos of a bride getting ready for her wedding. We enjoyed the separate AC and water heater in the master suite as well. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and tools to cook some great meals. The bar area with fridge is perfectly located near the patio door. The beds were comfortable with great bedding. The Sonos sound system was fantastic with speakers you can turn on and off in different zones in the house, on the patio, by the pool, the fire and around the volleyball court. The way the patio faces, we could easily listen to patio music in the evening without disturbing the neighbours. We didn't end up using the fire pit as much as we'd hoped because we couldn't see each other over the large fire and we didn't want to turn the music on out there late in the evening. The hot tub was well used, there were plenty of loungers, the pool was just right and the outdoor living and dining room were perfect. The guys even caught up on some hockey on the TV outside. A few improvements would take it from a 9.5/10 to a 10/10. We bought WD40 to fix the squeaky door hinges. The kitchen and bathroom sinks clogged easily so we had to fix those. There isn't enough water pressure so the garbourator didn't operate properly and showers took a very long time to warm up. The french doors from the master to the patio wouldn't close easily so we stopped using that door. You can see a lot through the textured glass beside the master toilet so we ended up putting a stained pool chair cushion by the window which felt much less luxurious. It would have also been good to have a key to the outside door of the bedroom off the pantry so that our guests could avoid having to bend to enter through the tiny door in the pantry. Also a lockable screen door on that room would help as there's limited airflow in that area of the house. We'd come back for sure!

Luxury weekend in the desert
We had 20 girls out for a bachelorette party. Everyone was blown away at how beautiful the house was. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday...we never left the house once. The backyard was beautiful and all the amenities made for such a fun and relaxing stay. Jen was an excellent host and very quick to respond to all of our questions. The pictures don't do the house justice, it's incredible and we will be back for sure.

Beautiful Property
Nicely done remodel. Backyard is the star of this property. Large covered patio with lounge area was ideal for the hot weather. The AC worked great. The only negative was the hinges on all the doors squeeked so loudly, so you could hear everyone coming in and out of the rooms. I would rent again, just need some WD-40 on those hinges!

This Oasis is no mirage!
This estate has all the amenities you need to enjoy a dessert vacation. The pool is as large as it is deep and can easily accommodate multiple families. The backyard is laid out very efficiently with a very comfortable patio with fans that looks out into the backyard. Green grass to run around on, sandy area with hammocks and natural shade from palm trees, a fire pit and volleyball court to enjoy. And enough patio furniture for everyone to relax and work on their tans. The great room and kitchen was big enough for us to hang out, eat, and relax in. Each bedroom was clean and well maintained and the bonus was that the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable! Enough bathrooms to match the rooms. A very comfortable and memorable place to stay!

Amazing!
Family trip with two other families! We had a blast! Home was amazing just as pictured and described. Jen and her husband were absolutely amazing from the time of booking until check out. When we arrived it was 126 degrees and one of the rooms was not as cool as the others and the main TV was not working. I called Jen and within an hour her husband was there with a fan and fixed the issue with the air in the one room and also fixed the main TV. Vaction rental was perfect! Thank you Nagla Orlando
