"This is our 2nd year staying at the maverick apartment in Wolfeboro. If you can’t have a beach house on the lake, this is a great location for enjoying downtown Wolfeboro. You can walk to everything and the apartment is clean and pretty well stocked. While the apartment is on one level, there are 10 steps up to the entrance. We usually found parking but it can be a challenge. We bring a couple of extra frying pans—and only one closet has a rod. But the kitchen is efficient with new appliances....

"We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. It was a nice balance of rustic, cozy charm for an 1800s farmhouse with the right touch of modern amenities. We got to explore the property a little bit, getting to see the horses, cows, and pigs. "We stayed here because we were in town for a concert in Gilford and it was great! Perfect location, close to the venue and the lake was beautiful. It was lovely waking up to seeing the sparkling water. Would stay again. "

"Stayed a couple of nights in order to enjoy the Wolfeboro Christmas parade and tree lighting as well as the Nutcracker at Kingswood Performing Arts Center. Apartment is cozy and within walking distance of downtown area for entertainment, shopping and restaurants. "

"The house overall was good, close to skiing and enough space. We were supposed to rent this house with friends who ended up not being able to make it at the last moment. The house would have been tighter than optimal with another couple, especially since the master on the ground floor is directly connected to the only bathroom. The community center left much to be desired which was unfortunate, definitely bring your own towels, they charge 3 for a towel and we didn't go down with our wallets so...
