Cozy house

We really enjoyed our stay in Huger! It was nice to have a place close enough to Charleston & the beach but also away from the hustle & bustle of the city! We could venture out to go somewhere & return to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware & made it easy for us to save money by making dinners a few of the nights. Would love to return in the fall or spring sometime to better enjoy the screened in porch. Missing the beauty of SC already!!

So relaxing!

I loved that it was away from the city. The landscaping was beautiful. You could not ask for a better more gracious host. They were so pleasant to talk to and very accommodating. The house was beautiful and the screen in porch was great to relax and talk. I highly recommend.

Loved the property. It was just what we needed. We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Shipyard. So convenient. It was only about 11 minutes from the park. Our boys loved fishing in their free time.

Cozy & Relaxing Stay

We had a great experience at the guest house. The property was sooo pretty and scenic! The veranda was perfect for dining outside and enjoying the nice weather. The cottage was Modern and clean and had a thoughtful touches to make our stay feel welcoming. If youā€™re looking for a place that is cozy & relaxing and still has convenient access to Charleston, then we highly recommend

Amazing Weekend Stay!

The home is quite beautiful. Got the chance to spend some time with mom on an early mother's day trip/gift. The rooms were amazingly decorative, looked picturesque yet comfortable, and the hosts were beyond accommodating. They offered so much that we didn't even have the time to experience it all! Would love to return and plan to do so in the near future. Absolutely grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a lovely location

Great retreat in Hugeeeee!

We came to Charleston for Bridge Run. So glad we found this awesome site near Mt Pleasant. The house was perfectly clean and nicely decorated. The back porch is awesome as is the Koi pond with the swans! The hosts were friendly and gracious. Everything was a piece of cake.If youā€™re looking for something different that is a little off the beaten path in the country, this fits the bill 100%!

Excellent location. Close proximity to Charleston, but very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the place so much we stayed on the premises much more than we originally planned. The hosts were very helpful and accessible. Very clean. Look forward to coming back.

My wife and I stayed at the rental for a week and had a great time. This is our sixth time renting this location, itā€™s a home away from home. Our adult kids came down Christmas Eve and stayed through the 27th, there was plenty of room for everyone.

Great Property!

The house was nestled on a gorgeous 8 acre property, with all the space for kiddos to run and play. It was perfect distance for our baseball tournament at Shipyard (about 10-15 min) and not too far from the beach, shops and restaurants.

Lovely House and Amazing Hosts

The house was wonderful and so clean. The hosts were the best, and responded to our questions quickly. Upon arrival, our girls LOVED the welcome package (they found the candy), and the waters were nice since we hadn't made it to the store. The living room was so comfortable and perfect for our family. Our girls felt very grown up in their room, with the TV and their own sitting area. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedding was beautiful. The pool on property was so convenient for us. We will definitely be back!

Dans la Foret Guest House is a Gem!!!

There is a reason why this property is highly rated and beloved. The hosts are communicative, attentive and kind. Our family enjoyed how clean and comfortable the house is. We especially loved the large recliner in the family room and the screened in porch is fabulous!!!! We spent hours hanging out on the porch. Outside you have your pick of activities, such as swimming, fishing, barbecuing, playing a game of soccer in the grass, etc. The wild life is gorgeous, with lizards darting around, tiny green frogs hopping about and the many different types of birds, including a wonderful gaggle of geese. The peace, quiet and beauty is just what our family needed. We also enjoyed being close to the beach, Charleston and so much delicious bbq!! We look forward to returning to Dans la Foret Guest House.
