"Wow!! We LOVED this property! The view was amazing and the thought that went into every detail of the property was apparent from the finishings to the amenities! We especially loved the host sharing fresh farm eggs, homemade jam, berries, fresh baked cookies and even a hand made dish cloth. The monocular was an added bonus as we spotted an eagle minutes after arrival! Having a Blackstone to cook on was also a huge plus. We highly recommend this property! Thank you Marlun for being a great host! "

"We definitely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The location is serene. We appreciated that there was coffee and other items already in place for our stay. "Everything very clean. Kitchen seemed well-stocked. The cabin is small but cozy with kitchen, comfortable couch, comfortable bed, and small eating area in studio fashion. Good place for us to stay to do day trips. Maggie was super pleasant and even sent us off with some homemade cookies. "

"Chugiak Moose Cottage is a wonderful place to stay while visiting family and celebrating my parents 60th anniversary. Just remember, Alaska can get hot, and nobody has air conditioning, enjoy the weather!! House was great. Plenty of space, and the host provided a lot a great amenities. And yes, we saw a moose and her calf next to the house on our second day. We will rent this house again when visiting family. Thank you"

"This home was larger than we thought it looked online, an older home but cozy. We had an extended stay and had no problems fully living life in here. Really is dog friendly. We and our dog were endlessly entertained by the local dogs which were insanely friendly. A nice safe area for walking with amazing views of mountains. Loved the drive, and Hatcher Pass and Government Peak are minutes away."

"We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved using the kayaks. While watching them a bald eagle landed on the roof. It was amazing to see the wildlife there. Prefect spot on the lake for site seeing. "
