"Lovely character full older property in its own grounds just outside Hastings. It suited our needs entirely as a quiet location out of town although the road to Rye passes outside but not unduly intrusive at all. Lovely period furniture in the public areas of the hotel with helpful and friendly staff especially at breakfast service. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and you have the time take a brief wander around the lake with its fountain, the grounds need a little work and...
"We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that. "

"This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops.
The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent.
Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy)
All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area"
"Foi maravilhosa, o atendimento foi impecavel e simpatico. O quarto era muito bonito e agradavel. Apenas ao redor do hotel, mas isso de uma forma geral, nessa regiao toda tem o odor forte e desagradavel dos pesticidas… Deveriam usar mais as técnicas tradicionais na agricultura na Europa !
No nosso quarto, tinha um pouco de ruido da estrada para quem dorme com as janelas abertas, mas estavamos bastante satisfeitos."

"We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay."
"Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10"
