"Great place for a family seeking a quiet location. We were greeted by our gracious host, who showed us the cottage and gave us recommendations for nearby dining and places of interest - of which there are many. Watching cows and rabbits graze in the pasture was quite relaxing. Highly recommended!"

"We have just spent a great few days here. Despite the rubbish weather, we still had a great time and definitely plan to come back. The Oast was wonderful. Lots of thoughtful additional touches that made being away from home easy. The beds were comfortable, the bath was lovely and the garden is beautiful (our dogs loved exploring it and doing laps around the bush!) "We stopped overnight on our way to Le Shuttle. Huge room and bathroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed . Didn’t eat here since cannot comment. Didn’t have breakfast which we considered too expensive and instead went to M&S next door . Parking costs an extra £5 which I always find very annoying if I am booking a hotel. Receptionist in the evening was not very friendly which is why 4 stars but morning receptionist was very cheerful . "

"There isn't a minibar in the rooms and it's very hard to get bottles of water. The Gym is always very full, as is the pub and the restaurant, mostly with no guests. So, after a long day of work, you arrive at the hotel and have to struggle to get some food. The employees from the pub/restaurant are very unfriendly."
