"There isn't a minibar in the rooms and it's very hard to get bottles of water. The Gym is always very full, as is the pub and the restaurant, mostly with no guests.
So, after a long day of work, you arrive at the hotel and have to struggle to get some food. The employees from the pub/restaurant are very unfriendly."
"Good value hotel accomodation. Free parking. Helpful staff. Yes the hotel is dated definitely not contemporary..look out for the bird pictures. the gold bobble wall decorations, the few steps up to first floor ( not sure how that worked!), the fish tank and the school hall looking breakfast room...but....the rooms are very clean, towels clean, great simple breakfast (lovely waffles) and all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again"

I was particularly touched when the chef made an off menu option for my autistic son as he was unable to manage any of the listed items. The rooms were beautifully set out and the bed was so comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep away from home but not here.
