"We enjoy the location of the Papakea Resort and have stayed there a few times. We enjoyed our stay. The living area was comfortable and clean. There were several beach items (chairs, umbrellas etc) available for our use. The bathroom, specifically the shower area, was a bit dingy and in need of an update. Overall, we were happy with the condo and our stay was a good one."

"The fish condo was so lovely. Everthing we could need was available. Upon arriving their was attention to little details such as towels folded as a swans, tissues folded into roses, chocolates and coffee. We saw sea turtles daily on the beach, whales out on the ocean and a rare monk seal on our beach! The pool and grounds were maintained daily. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. "We have stayed at this condo resort 2 years ago and came back. It is very nice location on the ocean with great sunsets and a relaxed vibe. They have tennis and pickleball, mini golf, shuffleboard and pools and hot tubs. Parking is included in the resort fee which is reasonable. The room itself was a nice studio condo. It has a full kitchen, fridge, etc. It is larger than a standard hotel room. The room has some wear but overall it is nice. We will definitely be back to stay here again."

"From the moment you walk into the unit you can see the blue waters and it sets the tone for the perfect Maui vacation. You will see turtles (lots of turtles) whales in the distance and lots of fish if you snorkel just steps from your door. Great sunsets every evening and we made sure to leave the sliders open every night to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Great location, easy communication and perfect setting. The only issue is the text on VRBO states that it has 2 and 1/2 bathrooms when actually the upstairs bathroom is a 3/4 bath with a shower and the downstairs bath is a half bath with a sinking toilet.
