"On the beach practically. Good options of food nearby. Grocery store nearby. But would suggest hitting the costco before driving to the property. A food truck park is right next door with variety of options. Property is a bit on the older side but overall neat and clean. Plenty of parking on premise. No restaurant onsite but can goto food truck park or other close by restaurants including the ones in resort next door. "

"This property and vacation was everything I had hoped for. The two units fit our family of 11 (8 adults and 3 children) perfectly. We had a bedroom for each couple and one for the kids. The views are amazing and we watched turtles pass by the balcony 24/7. One turtle decided to beach himself right under our balcony for the afternoon. We saw whales, dolphins, and even a monk seal stopping by to check out the turtle. The only thing missing was one of the parking passes but a simple phone call...

"This condo has everything you need and more. The beach amenities were super appreciated (beach chairs, cooler, snorkeling set, boogie board). The view is breathtaking, and both the condo and the resort are very well taken care of. We loved the location and everything the area has to offer. "I love how every single night the turtles come to stay and rest on the little private beach! Multiple turtles swim back and forth across the private beach. I was surprised how big the turtles were in real life! We cooked steaks outside on the BBQ. We enjoyed the room. It was in excellent shape. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I have many pictures and videos from the balcony."

"Very comfortable, except the no A/C. Very clean complex - and friendly. Quick response to any calls. Noise level at night was a bit high, but adjusted quickly. Laundry nicely accessible. Crashing waves covered most of it. :)Loved the "local" turtles. Snorkeling on the beach was great. Lots of sweet fish as well. Although we didn't use the grill, it was wonderfully clean. Would have appreciated knowing this condo started on the second floor as photo led us to believe it was a ground floor...

"We had such a relaxing time at Hale kai. We even tried extending our trip an extra day! We watched the sea turtles swim every time our children were in the swimming pool, had a seal napping on the beach that we could see from the lanai, and saw beautiful sunsets each night! The condo was spacious and welcoming, and we loved sleeping with the windows open and listening to the waves. If we ever get the opportunity to travel to Maui again, I would love to stay there!"
