3 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation home on beautiful Anna Maria Island, Just two short blocks from the most breathtaking white sandy beaches. This custom built home comes equipped with private pool area, outdoor grill/patio area, state of the art LED lighting, a full laundry room with front loading washer and dryer, fully equipped coastal style kitchen with dishwasher, cook for your family or hop on our FREE island trolley system to award winning restaurants or pubs in the area. Enjoy shopping on Anna Maria's well known Pine Ave, or travel to historic Bridge Street for more local shops and restaurants. If relaxation is what you're looking for, a two minute walk to the beach should do the trick, or relax around a private heated pool consistantly heated to 88 to 89 degrees.

Anna Maria Island is best known for its beautiful sunsets and white sandy beaches, there is kayaking, paddleed boarding, bike riding, or inshore fishing. For you die hard fisherman local offshore fishing charters are one of the most amazing experiences of a lifetime. We are also only 45 minutes from Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island water park , as well as Botanical Gardens, and many other attractions.

Overall okay

The house was clean, well-stocked, nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. However, a few things affected our stay. Construction next door, which we werenā€™t told about, was loud at times and caused tiny paint chips to end up in the pool after it rained. The host came to skim it and left a net, but we only used the pool once. The bar fridge outlet was not working, but her husband kindly fixed it the next day. Minor issues like low water pressure and a dusty air vent upstairs could use attention. Overall, a nice home, but not quite the relaxing stay we were hoping for.

Fantastic Family Vacation

We stayed at D's Hideaway for 1 week and had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time down by the pool/bar area and it was awesome. Fan, bluetooth speaker, fridge, tiki toss, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, etc. The house has a great beach vibe and very organized. We would definitely stay here again!

La maison est agrĆ©able et propre, conforme aux images, et surtout tres bien situĆ©e dans une jolie partie de lā€™Ć®le. Nous avons apprĆ©ciĆ© la petite piscine et la cuisine Ć©tait trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ©e. Toutefois, nous avons Ć©tĆ© dƩƧus par un ensemble de petites choses qui font que cette propriĆ©tĆ© nā€™est pas Ć  la hauteur de celles que nous louons habituellement, surtout pour le prix. Par exemple: Ć  notre arrivĆ©e plusieurs piĆØces Ć©taient sans Ć©lectricitĆ©, en raison de fusibles disjonctĆ©s. Nous avons dĆ» attendre plusieurs heures avant que les propriĆ©taires rĆ©pondent Ć  nos textos. Les lumiĆØres dans lā€™escalier Ć©taient brisĆ©es ce qui les rendaient dangereux le soir pour se rendre Ć  la piscine ou au bbq (on devait sā€™Ć©clairer avec nos cellulaires). Le barbecue nā€™avait pas Ć©tĆ© nettoyĆ© depuis trĆØs longtemps ce qui fait que le gras accumulĆ© a pris feu (nous avons du descendre des casseroles pleines dā€™eau pour lā€™Ć©teindre). Les fournitures (papier de toilette, savon Ć  vaisselle, dosettes pour lave-vaisselle etc.) Ć©tait minimales (un seul rouleau, une seule dosette, etc) ce qui est inhabituel et trĆØs agaƧant. Enfin: les rĆØgles de la maison (Ć©crites dans un cahier) Ć©taient inutilement stressantes (dĆ©part Ć  9h ou vous serez chargĆ©s 50$ par Ā½ h supplĆ©mentaires) et non conformes au contrat avec vrbo (dĆ©part Ć  10h)ā€¦ le fait que les hĆ“tes ne rĆ©pondent pas (ou trĆØs tardivement) Ć  nos textos (notamment pour lā€™heure du dĆ©part) Ć©tait trĆØs dĆ©cevant.

Amazing Stay !

We really enjoyed our 2week stay at D's Hideaway, it is a short walk to the beach , and on a quiet street . We appreciated the beach chairs and cart that were provided , and the beautiful pool and waterfalls were great . The shower on the main floor of the house had very low pressure , but other than that everything was awesome . I would definitely recommend this place .

Our family enjoyed Dā€™s hideaway, everything from the heated pool, to the short walk to the beach, and the most amazing sunset views available in so many areas of the island. This was our first trip to AMI but not our last! This home is perfect for a small family and the island has so much to offer.

Great place for families

The property was perfect for our family of 4. The girls loved the bed in the cubby under the stairs. The pool area was great; water was warm and pool was well maintained. Check in and out process was simple. Owners live next door and available to help if needed. Location was centrally located so we could do Holmes beach, Bean Point, Bridge Street and Bradenton all very easily.

Iā€™ll keep it short. The place is as advertised. It was plenty big, clean, and everything was great. We would happily stay here again. I loved the pool area, of all the places Iā€™ve stayed, this was my favorite (covered tv, tiki bar, and mini fridge and plenty of storage for toys and chairs). Loved having the beach cart to borrow too. FYI the bathroom is on the second floor. This did not bother us at all but if going up stairs is challenging, you should think twice. Thanks for sharing your place!

A 1/2 Bath from Being Great

When at the pool, you are one flight of stairs up to the main bath and two flights up to the master bath...way too many stairs each time you need to use the bathroom. Other that that the home is ideal...though the advertised waterfall into the pool only ran once for 1 hour during our entire stay.

Family Vacation.

The house was awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. We rented bikes and rode to the beach, which was literally two blocks away. This house is centrally located, you can ride to the pier, or go to town for dinner. The pool was very refreshing after spending the day at the beach. We loved playing cards in the outdoor area and the hook game was very addicting! We will be back!

Love love love! We will be back. Only problem was that we wish VRBO would give the renter(us) first right to refusal. Did know we didnā€™t have that option. We wanted to rent again next year same time and couldnā€™t. Very disappointed. Other than that it was perfect.

A little slice of paradise!!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! Perfect for our family of four- with 2 great rooms for our teens and a beautiful master suite upstairs! Everything was perfect....and we really enjoyed the tiki bar and 85-90 degree pool each day!!! What a treat!!! Thank you so much- we will be back!!!! Highly recommend renting Bikes and exploring the Northern end of the island that way! What fun!

Escaped the Lockdown

When the Ontario government announced another lockdown, we high tailed it down to Florida. The house was easy to find, and super cute! Everything was good quality and it was decorated nicely. There was lots of room for our two teens to have their own space for online schooling and for us in the upper level primary bedroom suite. Just a short walk to the beach for the unforgettable sunsets, or to the canals for some fishing. We rented bikes and that was fun. The weather turned colder when we were there, and we didnā€™t get to use the outside space as much as we would have liked to. Maybe it was the time of year, but the backyard didnā€™t get much sun., which might be a big plus for some families. The only real downside for us, was that the outside space seemed disconnected from the house, because it was downstairs and through a safe but tricky to open gate with full hands. But the full bar with tv and radio made it worth it. Iā€™d recommend this house, great value. Iā€™ll take done the decorating ideas home with me!
