"Clean room. Apart from the conditioner not being topped-up in the bathroom, everything was in place. Staff were polite and friendly at reception and at breakfast. The breakfast meal was well laid out. Plentiful and good variety. Location was close to station and very convenient for the city centre. I would recommend."

"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away."

"An excellent modern standard of decor throughout. Spacious bedroom crisp white linen and comfy pillows. We had an evening meal which we enjoyed. All staff especially those in the bar and restaurant areas worked very hard and provided excellent service. I would certainly return. Unfortunately no EV charger but staff directed us to the nearest points."

"The place is amazing, for sure it has become my favorite hotel in Stroud. Location is good, around 20 minutes walk to town center. The rooms are incredibly, very spacious and well mantained with some very welcomed perks as a nespresso machine and a wireless speaker. "Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay.
