"Excellent service and very comfortable room Martin the
host was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble
We only stayed 4 nights but would have liked to stay longer if we had the time if only for the great breakfast

"Friendly staff, pleasant quiet location. Stayed in the Magnolia Cottage very well equipped and had everything that I could wish for comfortable, like home from home. Even made me smile when id broken the key off in the lock to round of a perfect day, new key no quibble supported with a laugh and an offer to get the fire brigade around to get me out. Would definitely stay here again. Dines in restaurant food good and good service."
"Lovely tranquil campsite. We stayed in the 2 man pod, clean, comfortable and secluded. We had pizzas in the evening which were super delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff, all round a great place to stay"

From the excellent communication before arrival to the moment we arrived and beyond, Christopher (the proprietor) made sure we felt right at home. Whether it was recommendations on local eateries or a nightcap before bed, everything we needed was seemingly at our fingertips. The hospitality and personal touch was worth the visit alone. "Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️"

"Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep."
"We were really impressed especially by the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff. Very welcoming. Room was spacious, well provisioned & comfortable. Glad there was a fan as it was a hot night. We pre-booked for an evening meal & it was excellent 10/10 for taste & cooked to perfection. Enjoyed our breakfast too & both meals were very generous portions. Would definitely recommend - only here for one night but would love to stay longer next time."
