Lake Forest 3304 - Sea Pines One Level Condo

Lake Forest is a quiet community adjacent to the 600 acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve which features two large lakes and an Indian shell ring ... the only remnant of a native American village that existed 4000 years ago. By biking along the leisure trails that wind throughout Sea Pines, Lake Forest guests find a wide selection of restaurants, shops, and vacation activities at Harbour Town, the Sea Pines Center, South Beach, and the oceanfront Beach Club. Lawton Stables is within a short walk. Those choosing to relax closer to home enjoy the lagoon view from the back deck or the secluded on-site swimming pool. For avid tennis players, Lake Forest has private courts for the sole use of owners and their guests. Unit 3304 has a king size bed in the master and two twin beds in the guest room. Living room has a pull out sleeper sofa.

Vacation rental

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Buddy at sea shore rentals was a pleasure to work with.

Value Stay

Seeing that it was the peak Summer vacation season, the price was very reasonable. My wife and I have been coming to HHI for decades. On this quick 3 day weekend, we just wanted an economical place that had a central location in Sea Pines. Just a 2 mile bike ride to the Beach Club and about the same to Harbour Town. This condo has some issues. Sagging floor in dining room and kitchen. Cabinets that don't close. Deck that needs painting. But, we enjoyed our stay with no serious issues.

You just can’t beat the location. Awesome. The property is beginning to show its age. Dated decor and some general maintenance needs. A slip-proof surface or grab bars in tub would be helpful. But, overall, very good considering location and price.

Comfortable and convenient

Our unit was clean and comfortably furnished although the chair in the master bedroom and the unit's flatware should be replaced. Instructions for using the TV would be helpful; we were never able to access basic cable channels. The pool and tennis/pickleball courts are convenient and well maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Filthy Place

Walked into unit and it was 85 degrees. Air was not adjusted for incoming guest. Took until after dark to cool down. Sheets were dirty, place needed a deep clean severely. Everything was 1980s decor or older. Floors had soft spots so bad we felt like they were going to give way. Overall it was the worst unit we have ever rented in Sea Pines out of 50 plus stays there over the years. I offered to pay more to be moved somewhere better but unfortunately there was nothing available. So we cleaned it the best we could and the manager had the sheets replaced for us.

Nice Property with Dirty Floors

This was overall a nice stay- location is great, the space has high ceilings and view is beautiful. The layout was perfect for myself and my family. I will say the place was rather filthy- carpets appeared totally un-vacuumed with junk all over them and stained, the place was not clean and there was a lot of old appearing items, the shower curtain fell down etc. I’d say here again but wish it had been more clean.

Birthday Stay

My friend and I stayed in Hilton head for a few days for her birthday. We enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the house. It was nice to wake up in the morning and sit outside and watch the wildlife. It was also nice to be able to bike down to the beach since it was only 10 minutes away

Good value, not perfect

Their were several soft spots in the flooring, dining area and kitchen, One of the kitchen cabinet doors was missing, not shown in Pic's of property. The decor is dated by very functional. One of the sliding patio doors could not be opened by my wife, but I was able to operate it with some difficulty. The adjacent door was in good working order. Overall cleanliness was good, but the cold air return out side the master bedroom looked like it had not been cleaned in years and their was notable dust on the valences in the master bedroom.

Nice spot on HHI

This was a nice little cottage on Hilton Head Island. Enough space for probably 4-6 people to sleep comfortably. The property manager was very helpful and communication was great. Quite easy check in / check out process. Would recommend!

Disappointed

Paint peeling, carpet stained, dining room table burn spot or damage, kitchen not properly stocked with pots,pans, utensils, cabinets don't stay closed, weak spot in floor (dip) in kitchen and dining room felt like u can put your foot through it. Great location just need some TLC. Had to leave early wife got sick not sure what yet but is still dealing with problem. We just know it is some in the air allergies.

Great Time!

My sister and I stayed at 3304. The property was clean, the floor plan was roomy, and location is perfect. The sofas are upgraded from the picture. There was an issue with the flooring, but management was very clear with us about the plan to fix it. I have been to HHI many times, and if I was not staying on the water, I would definitely stay at this location again.

Great location and nicely equipped

Listing is accurate. Biggest complaint is a huge hole in the kitchen floor right in the walkway going into the kitchen. There were a couple of scraps of plywood under a rug but that did nothing. We had to jump over the hole for a week! According to the previous reviews, this has been a problem for over a year. I mentioned it to the property management company and they said they’ll get to it in a few weeks. Hmmm.

Property was as described. While linens and cooking utensils are supplied they are bare minimum. Bring paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. Could use some updating and a thorough cleaning, (skittles in sleeper sofa bed). Excellent location, property managers respond quickly. Would stay again.

The property was in a good location ans seemed clean when we arrived. After a few days we started noticing dead bugs every where. We saw several dead cockaroaches and my son ended up with ants on gim as he played in the living/dining room.

Overall Nice but Needs Improvement

This was a nice place overall, however, there were a few issues. The cons of the property were the air conditioning never seemed to work properly so it got very warm and made sleeping uncomfortable at night,there was a leak with standing water under the sink as well as another leak that was felt walking on a small part of the carpet, the beds were a little unconfortable, the shower did not appear to have been cleaned, and there were dead bugs under the beds. The pros were the layout of the property was very nice, the house was stocked nicely with essentials and then some, and the swimming pool and tennis courts were close by. The management company was great to work with so would definitely book through them again.

Sea Pines Condo

This was a wonderful place for our family! Sea Pines is a great area and the resort community has everything you could need including beach access! The condo was well appointed and we were very comfortable there. Would totally stay again!
