Deer Island is a very unique place on Hilton Head in a pine and palmetto forest where the deer come out to forage in the evening but within easy walking distance to Harbour Town. The house was like being in a treehouse looking out into the forest. Everything in the house was clean and well furnished. A great way to enjoy Hilton Head without being in the typical row of condos."

"This was our second time staying on the host's property. There are two rentals. The barn apartment was perfect for the two of us. Situated on several private acres near the May River and Old Town, the farm features grazing pastures with horses, miniatures, chickens, and a loafing pot belly pig. It is a working farm so there is always something to observe while drinking morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine on the porch.
