"Beautiful house and delicious breakfast! We loved staying here. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated hearing the history of the house and Durango at breakfast."
"Wir haben es genossen, die Gäste von Walter und Jodi zu sein. Das Haus liegt mitten in der Natur und ist guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, zu den Hot Springs und auch nach Durango ist es nicht weit. Ein Highlight war auch das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf Berge und in den schönen Garten mit unzähligen Vögeln. Wir kämen gerne öfter, wäre es nicht so weit."
"We arrived late Friday night. Only second floor rooms were available. My wife can’t climb stairs, so the desk clerk gave us a free upgrade to a first floor extended stay room. The next day the desk lady did her best to help me find my missing cell phone. But later in the week we had to ask three times to get toilet paper and hand towels."
"The front desk personnel were so friendly, helpful, and kind! They were very welcoming and knowledgeable of restaurants and things to do in and around Durango. "
"At first, I was sad that I could not get a hotel in town, but then I realized this hotel was the perfect location. The constant traffic of the train was not an issue in this hotel. Mainstay was very quiet. Very clean I would stay here again."
"Upgraded to a river view which was awesome. The room was great, the location was GREATER and the food was also awesome. I loved being right there within walking distance o the town and the train.
The Room Service food was good, but the soup was served cold, and I had to ask for another one. I hated that they automatically take 20% gratuity for themselves. That was just... over the top greedy.
The only other really bad thing was no bell service and NOBODY helped me as I struggled to get through...
"This hotel was great to stay at for us while we were in town for the Four Corners rally. Although it is not super fancy and the property could use some love our stay was perfect and the room was clean. I love that this hotel was located less than a mile from the fair grounds and close to places to eat. Our stay was safe and free of any disturbances from other guests, it was also quiet. I would definitley stay her again "
