A 7-night Friday-to-Friday rental reservation is required during peak summer weeks. Many of our homes offer flexible stays with a 3 night minimum in the off season - ask our Reservation Specialists for more details.
Guests can bring their own linens or rent from our Linen Service for an extra fee (Bed Sheets, Bath, Beach and Kitchen Towels)

Welcome to Beach Bungalow! This cozy unit (275sqft) is found in a central Harwich Port location but quietly tucked away in a community with outdoor pool and common gathering area with picnic tables.

Welcome to Beach Bungalow! We're happy you've chosen our cozy beach condo for your vacation and hope your stay is special. You will experience many spectacular sunsets at the beach, nearby walks to all the shops and restaurants downtown, and maybe a round of golf at Harwich Port Golf Club. We hope that your stay is sunny and enjoyable with many happy memories.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Follow the sign on Route 28 marking the driveway leading to the tucked away enclave that is Wyndemere Village condominiums. Travel past the common area on the right with plenty of picnic tables set on the lawn beside the inground pool and the single story story building ahead houses unit #23. The convenient parking space located at the top of the short path leading to the front door of Beach Bungalow allows for easy unloading of the items you will need for your stay.

Enter the unit and you will be in the open floorplan, consisting of the kitchen and living room. The kitchen on your left runs the length of the wall and provides a counter height refrigerator, electric stove, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. There is plenty of counterspace to use when preparing or unpacking meals and the freedom to dine in the living room or outside on one of the picnic tables.

The living room offers a comfortable couch beneath a ceiling fan and a large flat screen TV with streaming capabilities and cable as well. Sit on the couch beneath the window to enjoy a book in the daylight or cuddle up for a movie at night.

In the neighboring space on the other side of the living room wall is the sleeping area with Queen sized bed, nightstands and booklights on both sides of the bed and a floor fan to provide a nice breeze at night. Across from the foot of the bed is open closet space with hangers and the door to the full bathroom with tub/shower combination.

Please note: This unit includes a ceiling fan in the living room and a oscillating floor fan in the bedroom but no air conditioning.

Immediately outside of the front door is a small patio with seating to enjoy people watching or just a beautiful Cape day/night. Across from the front of the unit is the inground pool - unheated and fully surrounded by fencing for safety. The aforementioned lawn area with picnic tables is the perfect place for those who don't choose to swim but want to supervise the little ones as they enjoy the pool. And, for days when you take the three to five minute walk to the private beach at the end of the road, there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water to use to rinse off.

All that Harwich Port has to offer is nearby! Enjoy local restaurants, bars and stores day or night while staying in this home.

Wedding Weekend

We were attending a wedding this weekend and wanted a place close to the venue. The location is fantastic with a 5 minute walk to get to the beach. The efficiency was a little small in the "bedroom" area with the L in the wall restricting access to the right side of the bed. In addition, the area to keep your clothing is very small as well so a bunch of our stuff ended up being kept in the living area. The place was clean with the exception of the floor. Lots of dirt that you couldn't see but could feel as soon as you started walking around barefoot. I would stay here again but not in the summer because there is no AC. If the owner upgraded and added AC, I would recommend this 100% if you are looking for a cute place to rest your head while you are exploring the Cape. We enjoyed our time but due to the size, would not book it for anything more than a couple of nights. This is just our preference so if you don't mind the bedroom area being a little small then this place was very nice.

Great location for Harwich Port

My mom and I had a great time in Harwich this summer. This is a very small space and a somewhat bare bones rental with not a lot of room for storing clothes/refrigerated items. However it is a wonderful location within walking distance of the beach and town, so for that we really enjoyed it!

Not for the Summer - has potential

In short, I would not recommend this location to friends and family for a summer trip due to the lack of AC and some odd cut corners. - No AC: Now this is disclosed in the listing so it’s on me for not noticing. This was passable 10-15 years ago but the Cape is now far too hot in the evenings. This issue is made worse by the fact that the location is way too far in from the beach to get any breeze. The room averaged about 78 degrees at night w/ 70%+ humidity. Be prepared for damp bedding. There is a swamp cooler, but this is almost cruel as a quick search will tell you that swamp coolers do nothing in humid environments. This location desperately needs even a small window unit. We ultimately had to cut our stay short because of how poorly we slept. We found it exceedingly uncomfortable and frankly gross. Cheap Fixtures: the light bulbs in the bedroom were battery powered which was a really odd choice. There are some minor things like rust around the toilet bolts, gaps in the window screens allowing bugs, a wine fridge instead of a freezer or more useable fridge space etc. Overall I personally do not recommend this location until some adjustments are made. It feels like the rental company took a “lipstick on a pig” approach to save some money at the expense of their guests experience. This place has the potential to be a cozy summer getaway once it gets a few more upgrades. Good location, good communication, but not fit for a relaxing summer vacation.
