Ski-In/Ski-Out Chalet at the Top of The Highlands!

Tucked into nature at the top of The Highlands of Harbor Springs, a ski and golf resort, and perfect for year-round vacationing in Harbor Springs, yet minutes to Petoskey! This 3,200 square foot privately owned chalet boasts views overlooking the Lois Lane ski run. One of the highest residences at The Highlands, truly ski-in/ski-out, and a perfect place to wake up, strap on your skis, and hit the slopes. Please note that our rental property can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests.

Featuring five bedrooms and four bathrooms with additional loft space for sleeping. The main level offers an open floor plan with lots of windows, a vaulted great room, and gas fireplace ā€“ all which make it easy to take in the views of skiers going by or the beautiful fall colors. Catering to large groups, youā€™ll find two primary suites with private baths, one with a king and one with a queen, and two more bedrooms, one with two full beds, the other with 2 bunkbeds (twin over full). The fifth bedroom has a queen and there is loft space for extra sleeping arrangements. *The 6 twin cots are available for use, but linens are not provided. The gourmet kitchen includes everything youā€™ll need to prepare meals and gather with your friends and family. The large wraparound deck features a six-person hot tub, gas grill, and large patio set. The backyard is perfect for yard games and when itā€™s time to go in for the night your entertainment doesnā€™t need to stop. A spacious game room can be found in the lower level, complete with a second full size refrigerator, pool table, air hockey table, and flat screen TV. This spacious, well-appointed chalet accommodates large groups well ā€“ allowing ample room to gather as well as private space for downtime.

*All wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended to access this rental property during the winter season.

The Highlands offers renters an abundance of things to do all year round! Zip lining, horseback riding, mountain biking/hiking, and golf are just a few of the things you can do while you're here. Also, Boyne offers chairlift rides throughout the summer and fall months for your viewing pleasures. When the snow flies, jump on the mountain for skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Great Log Lodge

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Very impressive log home with tons of room for a good size group. We had 15 guys and it never felt crowded.

We had a great time at the Ski Chalet for the weekend. The ski-in/ski-out was great, but just wished the new chair lift ran longer in the afternoon. We had an issue with the hot tub, and the property manager responded quickly.

Great place and location with a catch

The house is great, clean, well appointed and easy to get to the lifts by skiing right out the back. The catch is that the only lift that serves this side of the hill closes an hour before everything else. If youā€™re not careful you may get stranded at the base with no easy way back to the house. We enjoyed the stay a great deal. However, for open to close skiers or boarders itā€™s a little disappointing that you have to drive to the main base area anyway if you want to have an easy way home after.

Lovely wooded retreat

Our big family group loved the place in early October and can only imagine how great it would be as a ski vacation. Management was very responsive ā€” we had a plumbing issue and they sent an emergency plumber on Friday night. Strange problem that the front door code stopped working after the initial check-in, but the garage entrance remained usable so no harm done. Kitchen is beautifully appointed and the gift of American Spoon jam and BBQ sauce was a sweet Up-North-forward gesture! Great spot for walking on the ski trails behind the house and we enjoyed the hot tub ā€” fire out will have to wait for next time.

Golf weekend getaway

Great house for our group of 8. Plenty of beds and lounging areas. Basement is an added perk. Outdoor area is great with hot tub, grill, large yard for lawn games and a firepit. Hosts were communicative and easy to work with. Definitely will try and reserve for next year's trip!

Wonderful.

We had a group of 12 golfers stay at this lovely house for a week. It was perfect for us. Close to the golf courses. The hot tub was great after a long day of golf. The house was in great condition with all the amenities that you could hope for. We hope to stay again in the future.

Family Fun

This place was great for our growing family! We were in for a family wedding and the place worked out great for all of us. The kids enjoyed the outside tremendously and loved eating outside on porch. Great place for families and definitely would stay here again.!! Shampoo , soap and such was small but we managed . I would recommend cleaning the living room fan at some point, pretty dusty :/ Anyway, great place!

Felt like a Mountain Getaway!

We had a great stay at this property. You had to climb The Highlands slope in your car to get there, and it truly felt like we were away from it all. It was nice to have the hot tub, basement activities, and a yard to set up our crossnet volleyball net. Lots to do just at the house. We also liked that it was equidistant to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We spent most of our time in these 2 towns.

Great house for annual friends trip

The house and yard are great for a long weekend. Would be great for a ski weekend being on the slope. A couple minor things that could use touch up, i.e. towel bar wouldn't stay on in one bathroom, basement fridge could use a cleaning and price was considerably higher this year than past. Issues were minor things nothing that would change the 5 star thoughts of the property. The price will have us checking out other listings. Overall, tough to beat for a 3-4 family gathering.

Fun Spring Break stay

Stayed at this home with another family - kids aged 1.5 to 16. We were there just after the ski season at the Highlands closed but were able to ski at Nubā€™s Nob. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and air hockey. The main living area is upstairs with the stairs being just off the kitchen and main area, which was a little frightening with small children. We blocked the stairs, but it was then a bit of an impediment to going up and down. The house was clean and minimally furnished with just what you needed. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house. Location to skiing was greatā€¦in our case, we enjoyed walking on the closed trails.

Amazing ski out!

Our large family really enjoyed this home. Kids liked having their own space downstairs while the adults enjoyed upstairs. Being able to walk out your back door (not up hill either) to ski was such a nice thing. Wouldā€™ve booked again for next year but somebody beat me to it!

Amazing!

Amazing! That is the best word to describe the experience we had staying at this beautiful house this past week. This is the 2nd year our group of friends have stayed with Jessica and it definitely won't be our last. Not only is the house beautiful, the location amazing, and the ski access unbeatable, but Jessica is the best. The speed of communication from her is out of this world. She made booking seamless. She answered all questions almost immediately, and communicated any problems instantly as well as the solutions. The hot tub is awesome after a day out in the snow! We highly recommend booking with her! Thank you for the awesome experience! Expect to hear from us next year!
