"Good facility close to town but the kitchenette was lacking. We would have appreciated a toaster and a bit more than a hot plate to cook on. The coffee maker was a nice touch but difficult to pour water into without spilling. The bed was comfortable but the legs on the very edge of the frame resulted in several stubbed toes. Would I come back? Only if a better property was not available."

"We enjoyed our stay in the gate city tri-plex. The only thing we weren’t aware of was that the property is divided into three separate areas and they are not accessible to each other. It worked out fine, it just wasn’t clear in the description. The property was very nice and clean and it was nice to have access to several kitchens and 4 bathrooms with our large group!"

"Overall, I had a good stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff I interacted with throughout my stay were friendly, professional, and helpful. That said, the check-in experience was completely unacceptable. When I arrived, there were well over 50 people waiting in line, yet only two employees were working the front desk. The wait was far too long, and it’s hard to understand how a hotel could be so understaffed during what was clearly a busy check-in period. No matter how nice the property is, starting a stay by standing in a massive line because of inadequate staffing leaves a poor first impression. Once I finally got checked in, everything else went smoothly, which is why I’m still giving the hotel a good review overall. However, management needs to do a much better job staffing the front desk during peak arrival times. This is an issue that should be addressed."
