"Great stay and lovely little corner of the County. Amenities and restaurant on site a great asset.
Was a little noisy because we were on ground floor by the restaurant… and upstairs above us very noisy at late night with people walking in shoes and playing piano at various times… but other than that a fabulous place to stay!"

Decorated. The owner has put a lot of detail into it.

"I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!"

"Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight.
Met a lot of nice people during our stay.
The welcoming scotch was fantastic.
We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc."
