Set in the heart of town, this vacation rental condo is 2 blocks from Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo has accommodations for 6 guests and boasts a balcony with breathtaking views of soaring peaks and lush pine forests. Rocky Mountain National Park rests 7 miles from the condo, while Winter Park is 37 miles away, making it easy for you to enjoy the hiking, biking, boating, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling that the Grand Lake area is famous for!

Take it easy on the plush furnishings in the living area as you watch a movie on the flat-screen Smart TV. Open the sliding glass doors to let the fresh alpine air flow in, or turn on the river rock gas fireplace to feel its toasty warmth.

Fuel up for any adventure in the fully equipped kitchen, where you're sure to find anything you need. The cooking area boasts ample counter space and plenty of storage in the cabinets for all of your supplies. Savor your meals together around the large hardwood dining table.

After a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, head back home to relax on the balcony. Prepare your favorite drinks to sip on while you cook out on the gas grill. The balcony is also furnished with a bistro table so you can eat beside the mountain view.

As you grow tired, head into one of the two updated full bathrooms to wash off before crawling into your cloud-like bed. Your traveling companions are sure to sleep peacefully on the soft beds or the memory foam-topped sleeper sofa as you all rest up for another spectacular day.

Grand Lake offers year-round outdoor recreation so you can enjoy your time here in all seasons. The area is known for being the snowmobiling capital of Colorado, with more than 300 miles of trails around town and even on Main Street!

Skiing and snowboarding opportunities abound on groomed trails at Winter Park and in the backcountry at Berthoud Pass, Parsenn Bowl and Eagle Wind. Hit the same areas in the summer with breathtaking hikes in the Grand Lake area and in Rocky Mountain National Park. When it opens in the summer, Trail Ridge Road offers unparalleled vistas.

The condo also makes a fantastic home base for fishing as it's close to both Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain lake, as well as several rivers and reservoirs. The historic Grand Lake Boardwalk contains more than 60 shops, bars, restaurants and galleries just 2 blocks from the condo. Spend a day beside the lake before strolling into town to enjoy live music over a pint.

Comfortable condo with good location in Grand Lake

We recently stayed in a second-floor condo in Grand Lake, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to downtown and Point Park, making it easy to explore the area.The check-in process was mostly smooth, although we encountered a minor issue with the parking pass not being in the condo. Fortunately, the host was responsive, and we were able to resolve it quickly.While the condo had many positives, cleanliness was an area that could use improvement. The oven and refrigerator could have been cleaner, and the carpets didnā€™t seem to be vacuumed well.On the plus side, the condo featured a nice kitchen, decent Wi-Fi, and a lovely deck overlooking a school playground. The variety of TV selections was also a nice touch.The overall comfort of the space was good; however, the bed was a bit too hard for my liking, though my husband found it perfect.I absolutely loved Grand Lake and the surrounding area, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable stay in a great location!

Just what we needed

The place was easy to find, comfy and clean, and a perfect location for our plans. The gas fireplace was very handy, as was the high chair which we hadn't planned on needing. We had forgotten to pack a few necessities, so my 2 daughters and I extra appreciated the nice shampoo and conditioner that was available. I personally was very happy that there was minimal decor and only hung on the walls out of kid-reach. The see-through metal stairs up to the unit (2nd floor) weirded out my 6-yo but with the ice on the ground I was glad for the extra grip! Only 2 minor things that weren't absolutely perfect for us were 1) it smelled quite musty when we first walked in but not horrible, nothing a little plugin or freshener couldn't fix. And 2, we never found a parking pass we supposedly needed to display, but the trip was so short it didn't become an issue. We would recommend this place and stay here again. Thank you so much for a safe, cozy stay!

Exceeded expectations

The property was exactly as described. In a safe, quiet neighborhood near downtown Grand Lake, but also only a few miles from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park West entrance. The condo was clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen as well laid out and easy to use with all the amenities. We enjoyed the use of the grill on the little porch and also the fireplace on one evening that was chilly. We will definitely stay there again

Nice low-key condo

We had a great time at this condo in Grand Lake. Communication beforehand was very clear, and the property was as advertised. We especially appreciated the proximity to the grocery store! Overall this is a great location for someone who doesn't need to be lakefront to enjoy their time in GL.

The condo is exactly how it's listed. It's perfectly good but not great. The bed and pillows were excellent. The fireplace excellent. Showers great. Everything was very clean. The couches are old and super uncomfortable. When we got there, there was a horrible smell in the condo. It smelled like Asian cooking but very heavy on the oil. At first I thought that the previous people who rented the condo had done some serious cooking while they were there. We opened the sliding glass door and the smell was gone after a few hours. Later, I smelled it on the stairway. I think it's one of the neighbors.

Grand Lake stay

Overall the condo was fine. It is nice and big. No lake view but close to the downtown area. The sofa sleeper frame is not level so we had to use the small mattress on the floor. The bedrooms are big. The primary bathroom has a couple of roller wheels missing on the glass shower doors so they do not close easily. As with most condos in the area, it does not have A/C, but that was not an issue in late September.

Nice place to stay in Grand Lake

Very clean and like brand new condo with a nice mountain view. Perfect location, close to the park gate and walking distance to the town. Good hikes around in the mountains just five minutes drive. Grocery market within minute walking distance.

Wonderful Condo & Location!

We took my mom up for her birthday to spend some time in Grand Lake and get some paddleboarding in and hiking. The condo was perfect! Both bedrooms are perfectly sized and the layout of the apartment is great! The check in process was really easy using the electronic lock. Condo is an easy walk to town as well as to some great hikes that go along Shadow Mountain Reservoir. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Pick someplace else

This condo needs some serious maintenance. The first thing you see when you enter are dirty and stained carpet and furniture. The pictures online were definitely taken prior to frequent rentals because the living room and dining room do not look like the VRBO images. So your first impression is a bad one. The kitchen was poorly stocked, such as basics like salt and pepper and cabinets were dirty. I will never rent from a management owned and maintained property again; only rent from an owner who owns, cares and maintains the property.
