"Cracking place. Lovely room. Great welcome. Good food"

"Excellent accommodation for our 2 night stay. Meals were delicious with a good choice of wines. The only criticism was the service was a little slow in the dining room."

"Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure."

"The staff at this hotel are charmingly Yorkshire and welcoming. A refreshing change from more 'corporate' but less personal treatment of guests. Born in West Yorkshire myself, I loved the chatty friendliness of the staff with their typically Yorkshire sense of humour that made my visit such a pleasure. I'll definitely return. The food was excellent, the rooms modern and immaculate. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I could hear the people in the next room talking way into...

"Fantastic place to stay! Lovely room, massive bed & spacious shower room. Looked very new as everything was in spotless condition. Breakfast great too. Would highly recommend!"

"The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries. ...

"My room was cosy and well decorated. The breakfast ( eggs Benedict) was delicious!"

"Good experience"

"Perfect in every way."

"Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Great food and reasonably priced. Would definitely book again."

"O hotel é novo e reformado, caso não se importe com barulho, recomendo a estadia. O bar no sábado de noite tinha dj e ficamos no primeiro andar, apesar de ter isolamento acústico, o chão tremia."

"Excelent for the price, many stairs no elevator. Great breakfast and nice restaurant. a bit far from the tram station."

"If you can afford to stay elsewhere do!! Amazing location, great pub. Not a great hotel"

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok"
