The Neighborhood:
This cabin is tucked away in the scenic Roaring Fork area of Gatlinburg, just minutes from downtown. Youā€™ll enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the action. The Roaring Fork Stream, which flows directly from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, runs just behind the cabinā€”and itā€™s stocked weekly with trout! Donā€™t forget to grab a local fishing license and enjoy one of the areaā€™s favorite pastimes.

Getting Around:
The roads to the cabin are fully paved and easy to navigate, but as always in the Smokies, we recommend 4x4 wheel driveā€”especially during colder months or inclement weather. The cabin is only about 1 mile from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg.

Other Things to Note:
ā€¢ The Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly by the City of Gatlinburg. A fishing license can be purchased locally.
ā€¢ Must be 21 or older to book this cabin.
ā€¢ This cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 guests.
ā€¢ We always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin is easily accessible with paved roads all the way, but 4x4 is helpful in the event of inclement weather.
ā€¢ The fireplace is wood burning. Firewood is not providedā€”please bring your own.
ā€¢ This cabin has very limited parking. Only ONE vehicle can fit in the designated space. A 2015 Ford Explorer (7-passenger SUV) fits in the spot, but anything larger will not. Please review the listing photos for a visual reference and plan accordingly. While the parking may be tight, the cabin is truly exceptional and worth it.

The overall stay here was wonderful! Clean, just as pictured. The only few things were the bathroom light was out, the hot tub was dirty and out in the open with no kind of covering anywhere, and the parking spot is very very small (they do warn you, just smaller than we thought.) But nothing major and we will stay again!!!

We loved staying at this cabin on the river. It was just as advertised. Glad the owner was overly honest about the parking - take one smaller vehicle! Very close to everything in Gatlinburg. Beds were comfy and house was clean. We did not take advantage of the hot tub due to a bear attack on the cover - but host was willing to accommodate by offering additional cleaning. We love that the property felt secluded but was located so close to Gatlinburg strip. We enjoyed the overall feel of the property with the running water next to the cabin and the layout of the inside. The parking space is as small as they say in the description, but itā€™s manageable in a mid size suv or smaller. This was just what we needed for a short getaway.

Lovely cabin on the river. One of the cleanest cabins we have ever stayed in! One suggestion is to put more towel hooks in the bathrooms and by the sink for the hand towel. Only has one hook for towels.

The property was amazing. The parking space was non existent. That being said we was warned ahead of time about the parking. So i cant fuss about that. We had a visitor as we was in hot tub. So be aware bears do use the walkway to move around. The cabin was fantastic and layed out well. My only grip really is being able to communicate with property owners. I really couldn't call anyone before hand to verify our reservation was still good. This was important because we booked just a few weeks after the floods in north carolina. We did get email correspondence just before arrival and during our stay. So our experience was outstanding Thank you for the great memories. We will be back.

My partner and I had a great time at the cabin next to Roaring Fork Stream! The cabin was exceptionally clean, spacious, and charming. It looks exactly like the photos in the listing. We loved hearing the stream and spending hours looking at it from the screened-in porch or by the windows. The location is so convenient, close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park but still relatively secluded and private. I recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again. The host also communicated promptly and politely to provide all of the information we needed.

Only one complaint and thatā€™s the parking or should I say lack there of šŸ˜‚ I have a small suv and boy was it tight I mean tight otherwise we definitely enjoyed are stay very very clean and the upstairs bathroom door was a slider and it would not stay on track but thatā€™s very minor A plus in my eyes

This was an amazing cabin, worked great for me and my wife. Location was great, quiet and peaceful. The front porch had a beautiful view of the roaring river. The furniture was upgraded and the pictures do not reflect that. Front porch screens could use some attention and the description of the driveway was very accurate(small). Would gladly book this cabin again

Cabin was wonderful, location was excellent. We loved being so close to the creek and had bears in the yard twice during our stay. Cabin was very clean. Only suggestion would be to add some place to put clothing - there are no dressers or drawers. Communication with the owners was great. Would highly recommended and hope to stay here again!
