"Our stay here was comfortable and relaxing, which is what we were looking for. We especially liked the large, very well equipped, kitchen and the comfortable outdoor seating area. I would give 4.9 stars if that was an option as the in-house air conditioner had been broken by a prior client and was not in service. However, they did everything they could putting two large standing units in the main living area to cool things down and dehumidify the areas, and we were able to open windows and use...

"We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. "This property was thoughtfully laid out and stocked. We only had to provide our own groceries! The owner really thought of everything. We would definitely stay there again!"

"This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation."

"It was quiet and peaceful - exactly what we needed. The kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. It was nice with full sized appliances. The apartment and bed were comfortable. The view was beautiful and the binoculars were a nice touch. We loved hanging out on the deck. The only negative was the short, deeply pot holed, dirt/gravel road that connected the paved road with the paved driveway. Nice place for a peaceful get away."

"Beautiful property. Saw several deer and lots of squirrels. Worth the drive to get there. "

"Immaculate space. Owners very thoughtful with a lot of attention to detail and extra touches for guest comfort. We had a crazy schedule with being in town for a race and owner was very flexible about making sure we could get into property and even got up at an insanely early hour to have complimentary breakfast food available. "We loved our stay!! We had a youth church retreat and had about 10 teenage girls and 3 adults. It was perfect for our group. The size fit us nicely, there were a lot of things for us to do, and we will probably book again!Pros:-pool is a good size with plenty of seating-rope swings throughout property were so fun for the teens-house was comfy for our size-AC was so nice-we could pick the temp that we wanted-host was so kind and helpful when we had an issue during our stay-Cons:-communication...

"This was such a beautiful property. There was so much to do on the property that we spent much of our vacation hanging out around the house. Owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. This was one of the best stocked rental properties that I've been to. Great stay!"
