  • Desfrute de uma estadia no Lovey Todd Valley Estates em uma casa de estilo colonial com 1350 pés quadrados. Construído em 2005 e totalmente mobiliado, este lugar tem tudo isso. Duas suítes master com chuveiro e uma banheira / spa separados.

    Venha e fique cercado por pinheiros, cedros, carvalhos e manzanitas com toda a paz e tudo o que você precisa.

    A unidade está cheia de vistas panorâmicas e pontos de parada ao longo do rio American .... Surpreendente!

    Três milhas para a cidade de Foresthill. Doze quilômetros de Auburn. Uma hora de carro para o Lago Tahoe. Uma a duas horas de carro para as estações de esqui e duas horas e meia para a área da baía.

    Por favor Note: Há uma casa principal com duas suítes master. Eu reservo a casa inteira ou as suítes master separadamente. O custo para toda a casa é cerca de duas vezes o preço de alugar a suíte master apenas.

    Há um quarto de hóspedes adjacente a cerca de 30 metros de distância que um amigo ocupa, mas raramente é visto. Ele é um cavalheiro em seus 70 anos todo permanece dentro a maior parte do tempo. A cabana principal é completamente separada e privada dos quartos de hóspedes.
    Eu ocasionalmente ocupo o estúdio de música, que é uma garagem 1/2 convertida no nível mais baixo da casa para fazer manutenção de rotina ou trabalhar em vários projetos na propriedade. Além disso, ajuda a estar perto apenas incase convidados exigem alguma coisa ou ter dúvidas e / ou querem assistência ou em torno da casa. Eu nunca perturbo meus convidados, pois eles ocupam a cabine em sua totalidade e têm total privacidade.

    Como é: uma estadia para recordar e um lugar para aproveitar uma e outra vez.

Super cozy and spacious lodge, amazing hot tub/jets, quite easy to get to, and phenomenal communication/support (easy 10/10 there)! Grill worked wonderfully for cookouts + kitchen in particular pretty much had everything you would want. For the time being, keep in mind it is two full bedrooms and the couch, but the couch is really comfy (one of my friends insisted on the couch over the bedrooms bc it was that comfy), but that wasn't too much of a problem with our group of 4 :) Would love to come back someday especially in the winter time!

Lovely cozy home for anyone wanting to get away for the weekend. I proposed to my partner of three years at this amazing place and it will now forever hold a special place in my heart. I highly recommend booking a trip as soon as you can.

Way way back in the day, my family built this house. I wanted to get ready in my childhood house the morning I got married, and it was a lovely time. Host was very communicative, and I had a great time with my bridesmaids there. Thank you Seth for allowing me back home for the weekend!

The cabin was awesome. It was a lovely place to relax and enjoy some quiet in nature. Seth was responsive. Check-in was simple. The house was beautiful and surrounding area was a ton of fun.Please read the instructions completely as there are a number of rules/tasks that you have to complete. Again our stay was wonderful, but potential vacationers should bear in mind that there are number of rules that can be cumbersome. Additionally, Seth will text you throughout your stay to ensure you are complying with the ruths. One additional note, the VRBO does not include the entire property and the owner may be in the adjacent guest house (less than 40 ft away) during your stay. This is a direct quote from our conversations."You reserved the cabin house itself, not necessarily the property. THe property is on 2 1/2 acres and has the main cabin house and a guest house as well as a lower level that is stocked with supplies. Basically, I'm on the property from time to time, but not in the main Cabin house that you reserved. "It worked fine for us, but if you are looking for privacy, this may not be the best option for you.

The house was perfectly located for the wedding we attended at Mountain Shadows Retreat. Could not have been better. Also close to nice hiking. We were out of the house most of the day so did not try the lovely amenities. The listing said 3 BR and 2 baths but we only saw 2 BR and 2 bathrooms upstairs and the garage level below the main floor was roped off. So maybe there are additional rooms there?When we first entered the house there was a slight scent of cigarettes but after a while we did not notice it. We had to request additional spoons as there were only 3 for the 4 of us but that was the only concern we had.

Great stay in the mountains

Was here for the canyons ultramarathon and was a great one night stay! Beautiful location and Seth responded promptly to all messages.

Cozy little cabin

Our stay was great, our host went above and beyond making sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay and also accommodated us for my birthday, even went above and beyond helping us out while we were leaving (clearing the snow covered road for us) :) I would recommend this place, we will definitely be back to this cozy cabin nestled in the woods! Thank you Seth!

Quick, but quality getaway!

We booked Seth’s place on a whim and couldn’t be more pleased with how it paid off. The house was lovely, calm, comfy, and well appointed. Seth provided super detailed instructions that made it easy to navigate the check in, check out and operations within the space. He was also super helpful when assisting me with my booking snafu and subsequent challenges after our stay ended. I would not only recommend this space, but would be happy to stay there again myself.

We were in Auburn for family baby showerWhen I booked the property is said the property had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and living room couch for sleeping arrangements for 8 total peopleWhen we arrived we found a 2 bedroom house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and not a comfortable couch to sleep on. Super disappointed. We had 5 people there and I had to sleep on the couch. On top of that there was no bedding, blankets or pillows for the couchOnly the 2 queen beds had blankets and pillowsThe VRBO listing stated there were 2 master suits with bathrooms and a 3rd bedroomThis house only sleeps 4 comfortably. Do not rent this property if you have more than four people on your tripThe host was super nice no problems with the host Super upset the listing info is totally bogus

Foresthill

The property needs to update their linens. Bed sheets were unacceptable and the towels were not any better. Hot water took at least 15 minutes to warm up for the shower. One bathroom had a shower curtain that fell down when trying to close it and the other was wide open and super cold. We arrived late at night the house was cold no heat on. Attempted to build a fire but no dry wood, kindling or paper to get it started

Way OFF Woods Retreat

Advertised hot tub, which was not at all. You can set it up & not have to heat it much in these hotter temps. We had anticipated the water fun the most. Place has mold, termite, & damages to the interior. Needs some major Love. Painting & work in the bathrooms, to upgrade to a better rating. Very hot in bedrooms, offers a window air unit downstairs only, small fans up stair well & even fans in rooms, were not enough. it was 105 degrees w/e. Very hard to sleep. Dead bolts on windows & main kitchen doorway so no access to escape in case of a fire. Bathroom rugs & Refrigerator, even outside furniture was dirty. Expired food in shared refrigerator & cupboards. Nice idea to share between guests, however, you should clean it in between? Also sponge in Kitchen sink, should be used & replaced for each group of guests, even bars of soap need replacing per group of guests. Notes on displayed items were comfusing & offensive about ((not using)) & making our own walking sticks. B

Kind host but misleading listing

I want to start my saying Seth is. Very kind and attentive host. His communication is fantastic, the best I’ve experienced with and VRBO host. The deer and birds we saw were also awesome. That being said, this listing is very inaccurate and the whole stay was a bit odd. Seth texted the day of our arrival to ask when we would be there and I let him know we would be there at the check in time of 1pm. When we arrived at 1:03, we attempted to enter the property but it wouldn’t work, service there isn’t great so it took a few tries to reach Seth, he eventually opened the door to the VRBO, and explained that the property wasn’t ready yet, even though it was check in time. He also stayed on property/in the attached garage for a large part of our stay. While he explained it was to make sure we had everything we needed, I will admit it was off putting. My partner and felt we couldn’t really relax or settle in because he was frequently walking around in the yard. We ended up not even feeling comfortable using the hot tub. The home also doesn’t have central heat and the provided heaters were not sufficient to keep the home heated. It also has heated floors but we ouldnt figure out how to operate them and they kept turning on on the middle of the night and were insanely loud. There was also no hot water except for 1 day of our trip. The whole vibe of the property was very off putting. While Seth was nice, I personally wouldn’t bring my family back.

Great location, but not private

Very mixed review for this property.... The location is amazing. The house is very clean and has great supplies for cooking, lounging, etc. Very large TV and excellent WIFI. The radiant heating floors are luxurious and the wood burning fire place keeps the place HOT! The rooms are good sized which is nice. One of the bedrooms has a REALLY squeaky bed. Luckily we only had our 3 year old w/us and there was a futon couch in the same room, so we had him sleep on that instead. We specifically selected a property with a hot tub but given that it was late December and cold, it was having a hard time getting to temperature and wasn't ready our first night. Seth did however put some bucket heating elements into it and we were able to use it our second and third/last nights there comfortably. Our big concerns and warning to others is the lack of privacy. I had read another review that said people were living in the attached garage. I asked Seth about this before booking and he said the entire Cabin House was private, but that other people including himself lived on the 2.5 acre property. We were fine with this. However, our second night at 8:45pm we heard someone drive into the driveway and then heard a lot of banging and voices coming from the attached garage (which had the door into the kitchen but had been blocked by a room divider so we hadn't tried to open it and assumed it wasn't for guests). My husband grabbed a knife and we thought someone might be breaking in. Luckily we called Seth before 911. We woke him up and he said he has an art studio and they were doing a supply run. He then texted me a screen shot of the instructions he had sent me the day before our arrival date that noted that he would be on the property doing "routine maintenance" and sometimes was in the "downstairs studio". This conflicts with what he originally told us. And also not what I would expect to be doing "routine maintenance" at night. It also would have been nice if he had called and given us a heads up that people were going to be in the house/garage. There would be 2-4 bangs every 10-15 minutes like they were building something. I went to bed at 10:30pm and could still hear it. I woke up at 2:04am thinking someone was knocking on the door but it was just the people in the garage. They left the following evening around dinner time and it was quiet. This was very off-putting. Also the curtains in the downstairs are sheer though upstairs are solid and private.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Great cabin in great location, away from all the hustle and bustle, but not far enough if you crave the hustle and bustle. We wanted to spend some time in the snow and Seth recommend we drive up about 20 miles from where we stayed, and there was plenty of it. A lot of great local establishments just a short drive. A big bonus was the commodity that we all can’t seem to leave without this days, GREAT WiFi, that makes posible all the streaming services in the middle of the woods while the fire place is going. The cabin had everything you need, toiletries, silverware, towels, pots and pans, TVs, and plenty of board games. All in all we had a very nice time and looking forward to come back. Thanks for the hospitality Seth!

The pictures are not accurate.

Impressed by the pictures..sadly not what the property looks like. In addition, the master toilet leaking sound, the noisy master bedroom fan and the very slick staircase. The pictures show a vast deck...the deck was full of parked cars. Many other inaccuracies.😒 Seth did give us a later check out time..this was due to the check in process problem
