Come to this fully remodeled cozy cabin in the mountains to enjoy a private getaway. 3 BR and 2.5 Baths along with a loft area. Great amenities like a gas grill, outdoor furniture, fire pit, a large deck and a hot tub included. Stargaze from the front yard or head to Cherry Springs, just 10 minutes away.
Bring your toys! There is parking for trailers with a full loop driveway and connects to ATV and Snowmobile trails. Ride from the property. Close to great fishing and hiking opportunities.

Dark sky stargazing

This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed at. We are VRBO owners and know what it takes to get consistent 5 star ratings. I am a recent retiree who has taken up amateur astronomy. This place has a great DARK sky, almost as good as Cherry Sorings and MUCH more comfortable and convenient. We have nothing but high praise for this property

This property is truly amazing! The owners thought of everything! It did not feel like a rental at all. We actually overpacked because we didnā€™t expect so many amenities to be included. We hope to return again soon!

February Birthday/Anniversary trip!

Super impressive home in the woods. We stayed four nights at a great price. Extras were great like soap for dishes, hands, laundry. So quiet and peaceful here. Great time hope to return in spring to see more animals and the stars. It was cloudy most days and below zero one night! Car had a tough time on the iced roads but we made it! Amazing time we will remember forever. Hot tub made the trip extra special. The guest book is full of fun stories from other renters. All the windows were great. Absolutely gorgeous views. What a quest from Cape May NJ! Even went to Canada one day! 10/10

Me time

I decided after 34 years in the chimney cleaning business and fall my busiest time of year, that it was my turn to get to enjoy the season. The hot tub was amazing! The dark skies peace and quiet like no other.The weather was absolutely perfect the entire stay leading to the most amazing sunrises every morning. I visited the shops in Galeton and Wellsboro. Went to the PA Grand Canyon. All easy to get to. Listened to the coyotes howling and saw many white tail deer frequenting the field. Took a walk in the woods and saw lots of interesting fungi. Even though 80% of the leaves had fallen before my arrival, I still would not have changed a thing accept maybe a companion to share with ;) Thank you to the Clevlands for such a wonderful home to have this experience.

Amazing Stay!

Had an amazing time for our honeymoon! Watching the stars both at the cabin and at Cherry Springs! Made dinner around the fire pit most nights and got to visit a lot of other cool towns and places. The view of the PA Grand Canyon was amazing! We will for sure be back!

This rental is perfect if you are looking for an off-the-beaten path getaway. Everything was as detailed in the description. View is beautiful and the house has all the comforts we wanted. Very clean and loved the nice kitchen comfortsā€¦.nice pots and pans is always a plus including the outdoor griddle!

Perfect Mountain Retreat!

We canā€™t say enough great things about our stay! The home was spotless and as described, had ā€œall the amenitiesā€! Decor was awesome and location was perfect! We enjoyed the view and sounds of nature, along with the much needed, peace and quiet that the location offered! Also, we were able to enjoy some great stargazing from the homes property! Our only complaintā€¦ having to leave! Thank you, and looking forward to our next visit!

House was amazing

The house was beautiful. It was clean and had beautiful views from every room. We loved watching a heard of deer each evening. The hot tub was a great plus as we and watched the sky at night. The kitchen was well stocked. We hiked at the Grand Canyon of PA, that was amazing. And make sure to check out A Stroll Down Memory Lane store in town, we all purchased something. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.

Wonderful place

The house location is excellent if you want to escape from the busy world. The house is surrounding by nature, beautiful mountain views, and spectacular star gazing at night. The house itself is just perfect in every way. The decor, all the amenities provided are just wonderful. The host has thought of everything you will need to know and have for your stay.

AWe enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was very nicely renovated, mattresses on the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us in the house and outside property. We spent much of our time outdoors and enjoyed beautiful weather during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful home & property!

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

You will not be disappointed if you make this your next vacation. Rick & Randy are absolutely wonderful hosts and communication was great leading up to my stay. This was a great escape. The cabin has a wonderful mix of all the modern amenities you would need, plus that remote cabin feel. A wonderful job done was on the remodel. Although I only had one clear night if you come up to stargaze a simple pair of binoculars are all you need! Wonderful skies. My only suggestion would maybe to add more gravel to the driveway around the cabin. It was very muddy from the snow (which I didn't mind) however I would strongly recommend 4x4 when visiting. It put my Jeep to the test on some of the back mountain lanes and I loved it!

Great Place Tucked Away in the Woods

The house is tucked back in the woods so a 4 wheel drive vehicle is definitely preferred! Your first taken away by the beautiful wrap around porch, which allowed for many star gazing nights! Then, once inside, your taken away but the beautiful cabin design with a twist of modern appliances! The house was absolutely amazing, a lot of cool designs in the house; like the circular staircase, the loft above the living room and the amazing game room! The basement is a perfect place for everyone to hangout, play games and take the best shower of your life in the basemen rainfall shower! It was very homely and had all the amenities needed to make you feel comfortable. The only complaints I had was the dryer wasnā€™t hooked up so that was a slight problem after putting stuff in the wash. Also the neighbor came over and just kind of help himself inside the house so that was a little startling. Other then that the place was an absolute blast and would love to go back again!
