Charming A-frame retreat in a beautiful, natural, and private setting

  • Charming and cozy getaway on 14 private acres in the Pennsylvania Wilds with all the comforts of home. 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 modern baths, a large family room with the most comfortable couch in the world, a dining area with views of a private pond and forested mountains, and a wraparound deck. Idyllic setting with woodlands and a private pond stocked with largemouth bass, excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, and stunning night skies, plus modern amenities. Fully stocked modern kitchen, large capacity washer and dryer, internet with WiFi, satellite TV, ecologically sensitive heat and a/c. The house has a Ring doorbell in case you have any trouble getting in and have no cell reception—just ring the doorbell and we can help! The A-frame is close to Cherry Springs, Sinnemahoning, Ole Bull, Prouty Place, and Lyman Run State Parks and Susquehannock State Forest. It is also near ATV and snowmobile trails, and convenient to the UPMC Cole Hospital and the amenities of Coudersport.

We had an amazing family trip! My kids, my wife, and my mom loved every moment. We enjoyed feeding the fish, spending time by the lake, and the incredible star views at night. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and felt very safe. Noelle was a fantastic host with great communication. Highly recommend! If you're looking for an amazing getaway, definitely book at the A Frame you won't regret it!

This was such a beautiful cabin and so well cared for. The cleanliness and attention to detail is unparalleled. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, views are gorgeous and such a wonderful location. Our vacation is never long enough! Thank you Noelle & Jonathan!

Excellent property, very clean and wonderfully decorated. Very relaxing. Kitchen well stocked. Would definitely live here as a primary residence. Just far enough away from everyone but close enough for errands.

The property was beautiful, as advertised. The large pond was well stocked for some light fishing. Star gazing right from the property was possible although a nearly full moon washed out the dark sky. Cherry springs state park was a short 12 minute drive away, but pets are not allowed. The property was well stocked with amenities. Bring a full size coffee maker if you are a coffee drinker. If you want to experience the sounds of silence and have a relaxing day in a hammock, this place is for you. We only had three adults and a small dog, but the A-frame could easily accommodate 6. Excellent hosts. We will definitely consider visiting again.

Very cool property if you are looking for something in the middle of nowhere. The road to get to the property is long and winding and not much fun for a minivan so be prepared for that. Unfortunately had to cut our stay short.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views of the sunsets and the stars right from the massive upper deck. Very nice fire pit area with hammocks for relaxing as well! My dog absolutely loved running around the yard and swimming in the lake. Plus the inside of the house is very well stocked with all the supplies you’ll need for your stay. Everything is labeled very nicely as well to make things super easy to find. Communication with Noelle the host is very easy. Would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in Coudersport!

Our family loved our time at this house. It was spacious, beautiful, and a great location. Would highly recommend staying here as the amenities were top notch. We could not have picked a better place to stay in Cherry Springs.

Great option for Coudersport!

Great place to stay with a great view of the stars and a few restaurants close by. We were on Motorcycles, and it sure was fun getting there!

Beautiful property. Very private and lots of land with great view. Loved sitting out on the deck and enjoying the surroundings. It’s a great place for stargazing. Added bonus: The beds are really comfortable with high quality pillows.

Great Getaway

Truly a wonderful property for a weekend getaway. Well maintained with a responsive host. Nice to be able to wander around the lake and nearby forest during the day and relax on the patio or at the fire pit under the stars at night.

The A Frame is a Relaxers Paradise! The house is gorgeous and absolutely spotless( thank you Janet and Noelle ), and the grounds are beautiful. Everything you need is provided, just come, kick back, respect the home and property and have a wonderful time

This is my favorite cabin in the area! It's a beautiful property & has a great view of the stars. Easy access to the roads, ample parking & the owners are very responsive
