At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). "The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order."

"Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room. As did our daughter and son in law. Both rooms were lovely. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a great central location. We had room service for breakfast both mornings. Our daughter ate breakfast in the restaurant. Both were very nice. The only downside was that we couldn’t get the room cool enough during the heatwave but the hotel were quick in providing us with a fan to help.
