Welcome to Das Liebe Haus! This stunning farmhouse is located a short twelve miles from historic and lively downtown Fredericksburg and is the perfect place if you are looking for a serene and peaceful vacation. Observe nature’s beauty while taking a stroll around the ranch on the designated walking paths; you may even get to see some wildlife!

The Space:
Moving indoors, this cozy and comfortable split-level home will sleep up to four comfortably. The upstairs bedroom features a Queen size bed to provide a restful and relaxing night’s sleep; there is also an en-suite bath with a tub/shower combo. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds and a second bathroom with a tub/shower combo. If you are planning on dining in during your stay, the kitchen is fully equipped for you to be able to prepare a meal, and there is also a propane grill outdoors to cook on. Once your meal is ready, gather around the table inside or take advantage of the picnic table on the back patio. After a day of exploring the wineries, shopping on Main Street, or hiking Enchanted Rock, come back to the house, grab your favorite beverage, kick back, and marvel at the sunset from the rockers on the wrap-around porch. Das Liebe Haus is ready to welcome you with charm and beauty!

Guest Access:
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $54.13 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

1. Check-in instructions, house rules, and property addresses will be available via the Happy guest link.
2. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance.
3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.
4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.
5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.
6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.
7. Start-up sundries provided for the first two days; report missing items within one hour of arrival.
8. Pet-friendly units welcome pets with an additional fee; ensure pets are well-behaved and respectful.
9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place, but some insects are inevitable.

For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.
