Welcome to Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 413. This elegant 3 bedroom condominium, with its beach front balcony ocean view, may be perfect for your family. The fifth floor elevation provides seemingly endless views to the east and west along Okaloosa Island. This Gulf Dunes vacation beach rental provides enough space for 7-9 comfortably. Flat Screen TV's in each room make it easy to relax.

The living room adjoins the beach side balcony, which also overlooks the pool. The sofa and chair will seat 4 comfortably with additional nearby seating at the dining table. Carpeted flooring makes a comfortable place for the kids to play. A sizable flat screen TV with digital cable provides entertainment for the whole family. The sofa pulls out to a queen-size sleeper that will sleep two.

The master bedroom, as with most Gulf Dunes units, has a king bed, dresser, tv, walk in closet and access to the private master bathroom. The bedroom adjoins the beach front balcony. The bathroom has a double vanity, tub/shower combo, and toilet.

The guest bedroom features a queen bed and full bed, and nearby is the 3rd bedroom which features a set of bunk beds, small dresser, and TV.

Gulf Dunes Resort offers guests a getaway experience with spacious tropical grounds, sea dunes, tennis courts, grill area, two pools (one heated October thru March), and ample parking. The beach access does require navigation of stairs as you traverse the sand dunes. The beaches of Okaloosa Island are as pure white as beaches get. The sugary soft sand is found nowhere else in North America, attracting visitors from all areas of the world. Wade in the crystal clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. This stretch of beach is part of Florida's Emerald Coast, stretching from Panama City to Pensacola.

Gulf Dunes is near many of Destin's attractions, such as Destin Harbor, outlet shopping, and many other outdoor activities. Para sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, go carting, jet skis, dolphin tours, bungee jumping, and water parks are just some of what Destin has to offer.

This unit is professionally managed, which ensures that you will receive friendly, professional service from reservation to departure. Your vacation accommodations will be clean and functional. We are local and provide same day assistance, and If you need anything during your stay, you can be assured that our courteous staff will be happy to assist you in any way.

- Must be 25 yrs old to reserve and occupy this property.
- Check-In 4pm, Check-Out 10am
- Completed and signed Rental Agreement must be received within 24 hours (via email)
- Vehicles are limited to passenger vehicles only. No RVs or Trailers
- No Smoking in unit or on balcony

Summer Vacay

My family and I had a great time! The condo was spacious, clean, and well stocked. The management company was wonderful as well. Communication was easy, and they were even kind enough to mail my toddlers pillow to us after we accidentally left it behind! Great experience overall and we will be back. :)

Overall, a great experience

We started in one unit, but the air conditioning wasn’t working. After an uncomfortable first night, we were moved to a different unit (which was a necessary pain). The rental company did everything they could to make our trip a good experience. No one can foresee this type of problem, but Sunset Resort Rentals was wonderful to work with - even giving us a return of one night’s rental fee. Overall, it was an excellent vacation!!

We had a fantastic family vacation! We loved the location and proximity to restaurants and shoppIng. The condo was clean and had just what we needed. The view on the beach was priceless! We loved our beach days and dolphin watching!!!

Thanksgiving Break

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The condo was located right on the beach and the heated pool was great for the kids. We also liked the trash shute right outside the front door. We would definitely stay there again.

Great property!

The beach the property is on is private, however if you fly in like we did and don’t rent a car, you will have to Uber anywhere unless you walk, but it’s also not the safest walk due to there being heavy traffic. Also, do not recommend getting a golf cart in the area it’s not worth the money and you can’t go that far. The property itself is nice. There were some technical issues with the tv and the wifi throughout our stay, but it may just have been one maintenance call and it could’ve been fixed. Everything else was great.

Amazing Vacation!

Not much bad to say, especially when the weather was so enjoyable and almost perfect in our eyes! Only three minor downsides...no can opener in the kitchen (everything else you might need/want), WiFi did not function properly (would not let multiple devices to connect at once), and the carpets could use a good cleaning. Other than those minor things, the condo was great for our group of 8 (2 adults, and 6 young adults from 18-24). Will definitely stay here again!

Spring getaway!

Very nice unit. Well stocked with any cooking utensil you might need. Lots of dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. Beds were very comfortable and we all appreciated the dishwasher packets, laundry detergent provide by the host. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great condo experience.

Pleased with the experience

We were overall very happy with the stay. The only problem we had was not being able to connect to the wi-fi. The password would not work. I called and asked for assistance but never received it. Had to use hotspot which had spotty connection and missed an important zoom meeting because of it.

A good stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Unit looked good, except carpet needed cleaning (and probably replacing) badly. Rental Mgr and crew did a nice job cleaning. Entry hallway rug/runner would help reduce carpet wear. Deck furniture was great! Living room couches were newer. Coffee table was missing its top, HOA should strongly encourage all owners to put pads on chairs being moved on tile or hard surfaces. That was the only irritation. Quiet hours were respected. Unit door was right across from the garbage chute and elevator. Not too bad…If a few noises don’t bother you, the unit was great! Overall, Gulf Dunes is well maintained and a nice place to stay.

Very nice

I would of gave 5*, but the charge for cleaning was quite a bit higher than most places we have stayed charges. The cost to stay a week was also more expensive. Other than that, it was very clean and a very nice condo.

Amazing Condo, will rent again!!

The condo was amazing!! Incredible view of the ocean, easy access to the beach! It was equipped with everything we could ever need. They made it super simple to check in and out. Great location, close to everything. This was our first time and we will be renting this condo again next year!! Wasn’t super crowded while we were here so that was nice.

Great Stay, Great Unit, Great Property!

Great property and unit!!! The Unit was clean, great set up and as described. An excellent family property and met many friendly folks with clean and functional amenities. Mgmt Company Sunset Resorts was excellent!! Great comms, info packet and transaction. Quick response when I had questions. Had a small maintenance item, they took care of it that day. Overall, highly recommended!

Beautiful condo and views! Will definitely stay again. Easy access to beach, grocery and entertainment! The heated pool was a nice bonus. Perfect fit for our family of 7. Absolutely loved the large balcony! There were no beach chairs available in December, however another tenant mentioned that vacationers head to goodwill (she even told me how to find it)🙂, picked up 3 brand new looking chairs and passed them on to another family on our last day with the boogie boards. Everyone in the complex was so friendly!

Great weather, great view

Great times. Left property clean. Unit was a little overpriced for sq feet and amenities. TV remote did not work volume. Bath/shower in master needs updated. Overall space was small but comfortable. First night there Sat June 13th teenagers were runnjng rampant kicking doors and ringing doorbell and running away. Pools were very nice.

Beautiful beach
