Our rates are almost always less than comparable units at The Inn (3 bedroom + Den center stack units) -most of the year it's several hundreds of dollars less per week. We are continually updating our condo with items to provide the most comfortable stay possible for our guests. Our entire unit has been painted in a light neutral grey-blue tone, and the carpet in all the bedrooms was changed to a matching grey-blue color. We have an 85 inch 4K QLED Samsung Smart TV in the living room and 65 inch 4K QLED Samsung Smart TVs in ALL of our bedrooms, an X Box One S including a Gamepass subscription and new furniture in our living room, as well as new Samsung BluRay players with Streaming in EVERY room. Our plush "Dream Bed" memory foam mattresses in our Master and Twin Bedrooms and plush Hybrid Mattress (coils /memory foam) in our Guest King bedroom, MyPillow Giza Dream Sheets, and MyPillows are sure to give you a great night's sleep no matter which bedroom you choose. Our soft close cabinets and Quartz countertops in our bathrooms as well as our stainless steel kitchen appliances are sure to impress guests who have an appreciation for the finer things in life. Our luxurious Sunbrella patio furniture is both chic and comfortable, with white cushions on black wicker foundations, and they are stunning with the beautiful aqua blue water and white sand beach in the background. There are multiple chairs and ottomans that can be arranged as either a large daybed or as a conversation set, and it is perfect for lounging around with your favorite cocktail while watching the dolphins swim by. Our air conditioner has a Guardian Air Purification / Oxidation System, enabling our condo to be a sanctuary of pure air. This system generates sanitizing hyper-peroxides which reduce levels of viruses, bacteria, mold, and odors- particularly beneficial for people prone to allergies. We love the fresh smell each time we enter our condo, and we hope you will too!
Condo Unit 605 at The Inn at Crystal Beach is a 3 bdrm/2 bth, 1640 sq ft luxurious, upscale gulf front condo located on the 6th floor in the exclusive "center stack" at The Inn at Crystal Beach, one of the most desirable locations in Destin. Our condo has a large L Shaped balcony providing some of the best views that can be had in Destin. It can accommodate 8 comfortably and sleeps like a 4 bedroom unit- we have a King bed in the master bedroom, a King in the 2nd bedroom, a set of Twin XL beds in the 3rd bedroom, and a daybed/ trundle as another set of Twin beds in the den.
The Inn at Crystal Beach is a gulf front condominium complex on Scenic Highway 98 in Destin- it is one of the closest beachfront condo complexes to the Midbay Bridge. The "center stack" units are situated further south- they provide more space and also have larger L-shaped balconies with the most panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico that can be found in Destin. Our condo is just to the left of the middle of the complex- close to the elevators and just a few steps away from the sugar-white sand beach. As the owner of this condo, my husband and I take great pride in our vacation home- I personally speak with all bookings prior to each stay to ensure that our condo is a good fit for your family. Unit 605 is furnished with high-end appliances and comfortable, contemporary and modern furniture and comfortable beds. Light and brightly decorated, it is adorned with neutral colors and evokes the feel of the islands through beach accents, yet one also has a feeling reminiscent of a high end Art-Deco hotel in Miami. It is appointed with features that rival any luxury penthouse-- high thread count linens, My Pillow pillows (they're washable), designer coverlets, thick designer towels, customized closets, and 2 king beds (vs queens) are just a few things that separate it from the rest. Large screen Samsung Smart TVs and Cox Whole Home DVRs are found throughout our condo- an 85 inch QLED 4K in the Living room, and 65 inch QLED 4Ks in ALL the bedrooms- Master, Guest King, and Twin bedrooms, and daybed/trundle room. Our Smart TV Apps are preloaded with Amazon, NetFlix, MAX, and many more apps to keep you entertained in the evening. Our BluRay players (along with 100+ Blu Rays and DVD discs), X Box One S gaming system with Gamepass subscription, Cox Contour 2 Whole Home HD DVR System (preloaded with movies as well as space to record your own shows), and many family board games are sure to keep the entire family entertained during the rainy non-beachy days. The unit has upgraded high speed wireless internet (100 mbps), expanded cable with HBO, Encore and Epix movie channels, BluRay players with Streaming in all rooms, cordless phones, and I-Home/ I-pod docking stations, multiple (wired and wireless) charging stations and extra outlets in every room, all designed to make you feel welcome after a long day at the beach.
The living area has a sliding glass door that leads out to the large L-shaped balcony and the master bedroom does as well. The new leather sofa and 4 chairs provide a great area to gather around after a wonderful day at the beach- a perfect place to enjoy a movie on the 85 inch QLED 4K TV. The balcony has a beautiful set of white patio furniture- just right for watching the beautiful water at sunset with your favorite beverage. In the closet on the balcony we keep a revolving inventory of rafts, boogie boards, chairs, and other beach toys as a convenience for our guests, and many of our repeat guests house beach items there so they are waiting for them when they return. A beach set-up with 2 chairs and an umbrella is included with the rental (operates seasonally, Mar 1- Oct 31), however we often will have extra chairs in the closet that you are welcome to use.
The full sized kitchen new stainless steel appliances has everything you need for a short or long term stay. It is well stocked with utensils, appliances, and cookware (Instant pot, rice cooker, etc), as well as a washer and dryer. We have a traditional coffee pot as well as a Keurig K55 Coffee Maker. We keep the pantry and refrigerator well stocked with essential items as a convenience for our guests. Our dining room furniture seats 8 comfortably at the table, and has 4 more bar-stools at the counter.
The master bedroom has a plush Dream Bed with a 65 inch QLED 4K Samsung Smart TV, extended cable and movie channels as well as a BluRay player. You will have wonderful views to the east through the sliding glass door that leads to the balcony, and views of the gulf to the south through the windows. There is a customized walk-in closet with plenty of shelves and extra blankets/ pillows. The bathroom has ample light, mirrors, and counter space, with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, eye-makeup remover, etc left for our guests as a convenience, and a separate jetted Roman tub and shower. The second bedroom has a plush Hybrid bed with a 65 inch QLED 4K TV, cable with movie channels, a BluRay player and plenty of shelves and pillows/ blankets in the customized closet. The 3rd bedroom has a set of Twin XL Dream beds with designer coverlets and a customized closet as well as a 65 in QLED 4K TV with a BluRay player. The den is like a private alcove - the daybed and trundle are the perfect place to unwind watching TV on the 65 in QLED after a full day of fun in the sun.
Since 2006, we have been fortunate to have acquired a loyal following of fantastic repeat guests, and this has resulted in our having the highest occupancy rate at The Inn- we hope that one day you can be a repeat guest too! I personally inspect the unit on turnover days to ensure that our previous guests have taken great care of our place, and to make sure that housekeeping has done a perfect job for our future guests, as well as change the paper products left by them to a higher grade, etc. We value our guests and want to exceed their expectations!
House Rules:
Our minimum age is 25 (no "college spring breakers allowed"), no pets allowed (HOA policy), and No Smoking allowed ($500 fine). Check in time is 4pm, check out time is 10am. Departure cleaning fee is $250. Duly note that The Inn at Crystal Beach charges a one time booking fee of $125 and a $21/nt amenities fee (this is $272 for a one week stay). The front desk is managed by Salt Water Vacations (formerly Dale E Peterson Realty), and they staff the front desk 24/7 (thus, the fees). After booking, you will need to send me a check made out to Salt Water Vacations for their fees, and I will pass that along to the front desk, and then they will place you in their reservation system as a guest in Unit 605. They will provide the key cards, garage door opener, and wristbands upon check in.
