Unit C, Spirit of Folly, Pet Friendly, 2 short blocks - 100 yards to the beach

Welcome to the "Spirit of Folly", a vacation rental that embodies the long history of the Folly Beach community. This tri-plex, 2 short blocks (100 yards) to the beach and 5 blocks from restaurants, bars, and shopping, was built in the mid 20th century and renovated in 2022. The two-bedroom one bath unit has two luxurious king beds and an expansive backyard with classic old oaks providing shade. For a more spacious shower (small shower inside) use the enclosed outdoor shower behind unit C and shared by both units. Walk out the back yard for direct access to the City Park, with a playground, tennis & basketball courts, and a dog park. The unit boasts a full kitchen and multiple off-street parking spots (front and back). Please note you will need to navigate two steps down to access the property. Not enough room? Rent Unit B (listing #2847570) to double the size. Owners live upstairs.

We had a wonderful stay! The outdoor shower was a favorite and was a Godsend when bringing 3 kiddos back from a day at the beach. We especially enjoyed the dog park right across the street for our little pug, Flint. The location is perfect for a relaxing vacation to Folly Beach!

This was our first stay in Folly Beach. The island is beautiful and the yards at everyone's houses are filled with nice plants, trees and shrubs. I enjoyed riding my bicycle and I felt very safe on the streets. We had our dog with us and it was a great area for her as well. It was close walking distance to a beach access and we enjoyed sitting at the back patio. My husband and I are both seniors, so the entrance steps were a bit hazardous for us to navigate, but otherwise the space was good. We chose the wrong time to be there because of so much holiday traffic and crowds(it was over Memorial Day weekend). The weather was great but for one afternoon with thunderstorms so we were lucky with that. We found it difficult to find handicap parking spaces on Center Street near restaurants so ate in our place most of the time. Generally we enjoyed our stay and plan to return to the area at a less busy time. Thank you Meg!

Exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to the beach and downtown for easy access but set back enough that itā€™s a quiet neighborhood. All amenities you need for a visit to this cute town. And as other reviewers say, Meg was friendly and welcoming and responsive.

The property was cute and beachy and was spacious for two traveling adults. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking gadgets and there was even bottled water in the fridge and popcorn for snacking. Plenty of parking and quick responses from the property manager made the whole experience effortless.

This property was perfect! Short walk to the beach. Close by all the restaurants/bars/shops. The outside shower is a really nice feature. Meg is amazing! She is very attentive to needs of her guests of the condo and lives just upstairs for quick and easy access and communication. Definitely recommend!!

We had a great time. We were able to make dinner a few nights and close enough to Center street that we could walk to get a meal. It was a short walk to the beach which was perfect with two small children. We had a great time and Meg was a perfect hostess.
