Chateau Serenity, a scenically located home, is within walking distance of the coast. Walk to the beach a half-mile away at Driftwood Shores Resort, take a short trip to Sea Lion Caves, or visit the Heceta Head Lighthouse to watch for migrating whales and gaze out over the Pacific Ocean. Historic Old Town Florence offers unique independent shops, eateries, and a beautiful marina on the Siuslaw River. Check out nearby Hobbit Beach and hike the Hobbit Trail.

If you prefer to stay close to home, the backyard firepit, grill, and outdoor decks offer a relaxed and private retreat.

The living area has a 55ā€ TV with a soundbar, comfy sofas, and a wicker chair. Kick back and enjoy the warmth from a pellet stove. Cook up tasty meals in the kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances. When youā€™re ready to eat, gather at the dining table or alfresco at the patio table on the front deck.

The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Amenities include complimentary WiFi.

This home is accessed via a short set of steps to the front deck.
This vacation rental does not have central air-conditioning.
Wood pellets are provided for the stove.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). Nice place close to beach- didnā€™t have a pet with us but you can tell itā€™s pet friendly, some built up pet hair in the hard to reach places. Didnā€™t bother us but wouldnā€™t book it if you have allergies etc. great kitchen for making meals there and good spaces for lounging and hanging out

Cute 2 bedroom house. Kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well. Love that it is pet friendly and has a fenced back yard. Short walk to the beach. Fit the bill for what we needed.

It's a cute 2/2 cottage. Minutes from the best beach. Easy access to town. Great in some ways, fell short in a few other ways. Needs some TLC.

The house was dirty, not set up for children, and not close to the beach as advertised. The floors are coming apart, the dishwasher didnā€™t work, there were weird stains on some of the walls, the comforter on the master bed was dirty, the bedding was cheap and crunchy, the beds were hard as rocks and were actually painful to sleep on, there was one childrenā€™s toy, no pack n play, no high chair, so no where for our infant to sleep, there were no closet doors on the closet in the hall so everything was easily accessible for the baby which was stressful, and he found an empty screw top beer can under the sink in the master bathroom- oh, and a nasty old crunchy makeup brush. The house was dark even though the pictures made it look light and bright. The master bathroom toilet runs after flushed for quite a while, and you have to cross your fingers and hope it actually flushes. The couches are so old that it feels gross to sit on them, definitely not relaxing. One of the couches is covered with a gross slip cover. This house is advertised as being super close to the beach, however itā€™s a bit of a walk especially with little kids, we ended up driving. We will not be staying here again. I would have gladly paid a little more for a cleaner and more updated house.

Loved the modern kitchen, fire pit, large screen TV. Did not love the cheap mattress in 2nd bedroom, smell in the kitchen and bathroom located off kitchen, and the difficulty of locating house.

This place is in a good location for exploring the Florence area, but thatā€™s about it. Neighborhood is a little gross, the walk down to the beach is along busy roads without sidewalks or a shoulder, the beds are basically just box springs and we had multiple issues with the property that we never addressed with anything other than an automated text response. Clogged sink, broken garbage disposal, a leak from the bottom of the toilet and heat that just randomly stopped working. Vacasa just doesnā€™t care about taking good care of properties the way private owners do, and it shows. Stay elsewhere.

This house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed yhe hot tub, the home feel of it. I would not suggest people who have hard time going up stairs. As there is no wheel chair ramp, and a pretty big step from the dinning room to the living room. Other then that this house was just what we were looking for.

Enjoyed our quick trip. Setting up the vacation home was quick and easy. Location was great with an easy access to the beach. Condition of the vacation home could have been better. We did experience mold in the shower, kitchen stove light out, needed to have small kitchen appliances replaced and some electrical outlets replaced. Over all the house was clean. Probably would not rent this particular home again.

It is very hard to find. There aren't any house numbers or lights on the outside of the house. We had to ask a neighbor where it was. The roads are dirt and not maintained. We would have had a hard time getting through without being in an SUV because of the huge area of water over the road. One of the neighbors has flood lights that shine right into the bedroom window. The other neighbors kept parking all their cars in our spot and there wasn't anywhere else to park. There were no instructions for turning on the heaters. We had to look for the hot tub key for a while before we found it. There is no cellular service and the WiFi didn't work most of the time. I'm glad we had a place to lay our heads but not very happy. I'm certain if the owners fixed the house things and spoke to the neighbors it would be a better place to stay.

There were no house numbers on the house so that made it somewhat difficult to find. The WiFi did not work which was very frustrating! When we arrived the cleaning lady was still there and we arrived 30-45 minutes after our check in time! We finally told her to leave and we would get the rest of the bedding out of the dryer! The tv was also not connected and that took some time to get it figured out! I would like part of my $ refunded!
