"Spent the night at the Wilson Arms. Lovely little pub in a very peaceful area. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fast service and lovely food from the restaurant. Would definately recommend the Wilson Arms. "

"What a gorgeous little place this was to stay. Our room was big and spacious, with great bed and shower. It’s really well located and within walking distance to everything. You’re staying at a pub so expect some noise but it didn’t bother us at all. Great staff as well. We’ll be back!"

"Was a good experience. Lovely clean room with plenty of space. Teas, coffees hot chocolate drinks, biscuits and bottled water provided in room. TV but not many channels available. However, we spent a very pleasant evening in the bar, chatting to other guests. Dining room was very nice, with table service. All the staff were very friendly and professional. "

"It's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room. Super cafe bar. Relaxing seaside decor It's a gem. "

"Little gem of a place, lovely little suite photos are absolutely honest, really clean and warm with a great shower and a comfy bed. The staff were welcoming and helpful. If you have mobility issues though this isn’t the accommodation for you, stairs up to the flat door then another short but fairly steep set up to the suite door, another short but steep windy staircase to the bedroom from the lounge, I did however find this a nice quirky addition.One thing to bear in mind is that your are over...

"Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. "Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available. "I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. Many, many thanks! "
