No smoking tobacco indoors. This unique farmhouse is set on our spacious cannabis farm, surrounded by green, open space, and lush greenhouses of marijuana. The residence is cradled in the Freshwater Creek Valley, surrounded by lush Redwood forest. The coastal towns of Eureka and Arcata are less than a 10 min drive away for all you food and entertainment needs. We offer an informative guided tour of the farm during the growing season. The tour includes a stroll through the greenhouses, nursery, propagation room, and drying barn, and more. The tour guide, will explain the cultivation process as well as a brief history and fun stories about the Humboldt cannabis culture. $15 per person. Request 48hrs in advance, and subject to tour guide's availability. The farmhouse has a full kitchen, with a stove, oven and large fridge as well as basic cookware. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bathroom, a wood fired stove, a private deck, and gorgeous views of our farm and the surrounding redwoods. This is an operating farm which means there may be a certain level of activity and noise throughout your stay. We also have dogs on the property whom are friendly and will want to meet you. The area immediately outside and around the rental is yours to use and enjoy. Guests are welcome to walk around the rest of the property but are not permitted to enter any buildings or greenhouses that are not part of their Airbnb. Respecting the other guests and their space is expected as well. If you wish to see more of the farm in detail, we will gladly give you a guided tour! Just text or call to make arrangements. No smoking tobacco inside the Airbnb. There is a security gate at the entrance to the property. The gate code and detailed parking instructions are provided after booking. Please check the link provided in your messages, it's important! Cell phone service can be spotty at the farm with some providers, so make sure you write down the entry code, and review instructions before arrival! The unit is left unlocked and keys are on the table. Parking is located directly in front of the house. The entire home and surrounding outdoor areas are accessible to guests. This property is located in a small valley just a 10 minute drive from Eureka or Arcata. The neighborhood is called Freshwater, and it is a very scenic country setting. There is private parking provided on the property which is gated. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as the shower and toilet. Once it passes inspection, your Airbnb sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in.
