"Beautiful home, extemely clean with higher end furniture, bedding ect. I was moving my daughter to Cal poly. The house slept my three kids, wife and dog comfortably. I noticed he didnt want dog's in the bedrooms, but the bedding was higher end, i can understand not wanting animals to rub up next to it. "We loved our stay at whale Rock suites. The views of the ocean were amazing and we felt really isolated but we were just a few minutes from Trinidad. "I booked the rental on less than 24 hours notice. The owner was terrific. She communicated clearly beforehand, had great information about the area waiting in the space, and leaving was very easy too. She even reached out to see if I needed to extend by a day. This is located midway between Eureka and Arcata and was very convenient. The kitchen had everything I needed and everything was clean and comfortable. I hope to return sometime. "

11. Garden Casita-Walk to Town

"This was a lovely little place to stay. Close to town. It was very clean and seemed to have everything we wanted. I only complaint was the gates that you had to use to enter into the property. It’s a padlock with tiny tiny little numbers that I could barely see. I struggled for several minutes at a time to lock and unlock the gates. And the gate is super heavy. It would be really nice if they would put an electric gate in because me being elderly I had a very tough time with it. "
