Welcome to your dream oceanfront retreat at 396 Neptune Ave., Encinitas. This luxurious 8-bedroom, 6-bathroom beachfront home offers a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, accommodating up to 17 guests. Each bedroom is uniquely designed, featuring a mix of king, queen, and twin bunk beds, ensuring a restful night for all. The master suites boast en-suite bathrooms, while the Jack & Jill bathroom provides convenience for connected rooms.

The open-concept living area is ideal for gatherings, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes modern appliances like a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Enjoy your morning coffee with the provided coffee maker and toaster. Relax on the expansive deck, complete with a private BBQ grill and a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars.

The property also features a private spa, panoramic doors leading to ocean views, and a hot tub for ultimate relaxation. Wireless internet, air conditioning, and ceiling fans ensure comfort throughout your stay. Linens, beach towels, and all necessary amenities are provided for your convenience.

THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON A BLUFF ~75 FEET UP FROM THE WATER.

For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of essential items to get your stay off to a comfortable start. This includes a small supply of dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Please note that these items are provided as a courtesy and are not intended to last for the entire duration of your stay. Guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed.

Fantastic place! It was really beautiful and clean. Right on the beach. We could hear the waves inside. Hot tub was a huge plus. It’s a great area near lots of good restaurants and beach walks. Overall quiet and friendly. One of the nicer places I have stayed. The owners were so easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Great Location and House

For a large group gathering this was the perfect house. Parking on the street is challenging for guests, but there are 4 spots for the folks staying there. Eight bedrooms are all great.

Study Group

Overall great! Responsive management. Could use a little TLC on small stuff. Door adjustments, more towels, some weather worn paint. The place is right above the waves. Overall, terrific and everyone loved the place and the view. Very good for a group of eight doing a business retreat. Could use a garbage disposal.

Neptune - ocean view on the bluff

Great floor plan for extended family - 8 good-sized bedrooms with king or queen beds. Open kitchen/dining/family room for extended family to spend time together. Fabulous patio with plenty of chairs and loungers. Beautiful bluff and ocean view enjoyed from the patio and main floor and 2 bedrooms on oceanside.

Epic Birthday Weekend

We were actually VERY impressed once we arrived. The house is huge, and the pictures don't do it justice. We had 18 people staying at the house and we had plenty of space. It's about 6 houses away from a staircase that leads down to the beach. The view of the ocean from the house is beautiful. The spa was HOT and we spent every night on the patio watching the sunset. We only had one complaints. The ping pong paddles are trash and I love ping pong. We made it work but I did lose a game. Book the house. You won't be disappointed.

A dirty house in a good location

This property was dirty. It was a great location with beautiful views but every single amenity had grime or was sort of janky. The beds all squeaked and felt like they'd collapse, the house was just not well taken care of. Add to this, our listing or host never mentioned anything about the neighbor next door having their house under construction (which we found out had been that way for 6 months). They were cheap on toilet paper, so we asked for more and got 2 more rolls. That's it. Every light is on a timer. This is as cynical of a property cash grab as possible. They got a spot in a good location, make the price high, and skimp on every single thing they can to save a penny. It makes for an underwhelming experience. I recommend you try some place else. The coast area is beautiful, surely some other rental along it would be better.

Great location, a few hiccups, short garage

Great location on a cliff overlooking the Pacific with 120 steps to the beach about 8 lots away. And a FREE beach parking lot a half mile away at Moonlight Beach. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood, must dial down noise at 9 pm. Some issues with a cold hot tub were eventually resolved--everyone did their best.

Oceanfront

Well the house was nice, okay shown like photos just a bit older. We have room for 17 people . Family member which is hard to find. Our first encounter with a problem was the oven taking over 2 hours to reach 350 degrees . I called to report the problem with the oven and maintenance showed up and while they were testing it, we could smell gas. To make a long story short the next day we had a new oven. The hot tub not heating or get hot was a continuous problem while we were there. I saw other comments about the hot tub not being hot before we arrived. I called. and asked about that and was assured the hot tub was working. It was not … what I had to do is call them every two days and they had to come and fill up the hot tub with hot water which was a pain but at least we had hot water for the hot tub so if you’re renting, beware, the hot tub does not work.

Home is perfect for a large group, views from the deck are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. House could use an update and the hot tub is showing it’s age. But for a large group it was a great vacation.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay was great. The unit did t have everything that was pictured. Window in the second ocean view room was cracked and ruined so couldn’t see through it very well. Many games and things to do do, pool table and table tennis was great for the kids! Kitchen seemed stocked! Had an overall wonderful time here. Beach access close by was closed. (03/23)

Lives Like A Resort with Unbelievable Views

The property was as advertised. It was a fantastic place for a larger group, in a great location, with endless views. The home was clean, the beds were great, and the Ping Pong Table was a hit. Thank you for providing us with a great experience.

Fantastic location and views

The house is big and comfortably hosted our party of 16 (with a couple beds to spare). Location is fantastic as the kids walked down to the back and we could watch them from backyard while enjoying our drinks. There are good restaurants that we could drive to for a special dinner. Checkin process was smooth and I got prompt responses via text. The house is used a lot and has some wear and tear. It could use repair of a couple cracked glasses which I brought to their attention. Also, having some basic items (e.g.coffee, tea) would be helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Wonderful Family Reunion

I believe I already reviewed our stay, but perhaps it wasn’t received. We had a wonderful time. It was a special family reunion with 10 adults, three children, 10, 8 and 3 and my small 14 year old Havanese dog. We even had a bedroom that wasn’t used! Nearby Encinitas family joined in at various times during our four days, with plenty of room for socializing in the open living room area plus the deck. We barbecued two nights, and my grand son-in-law (a former chef) loved the grill. The young adults enjoyed the jacuzzi, and it worked just fine. The house is as beautiful as it’s pictured, and the location is perfect. The steps down to the beach are only a few blocks away. We had a few issues needing repairs, and the response was fast and very professional. I think it was “Ryan.” Hat’s off to him, The unseasonably warm and humid weather made the bedrooms very warm, especially the first night. I asked for and received 6 fans (small but adequate) the second day. The downstairs has AC that we didn’t figure out till the last day, but the upstairs doesn’t have AC. That would have earned 5 Stars across the board. One item we didn’t think to report is the dishwasher that had standing water after running. My adult granddaughter was greeted the last morning by the man who owns the home on the right facing the water. He thanked her for our being thoughtful guests who didn’t disturb him. It’s a truly beautiful spot, and we’ll likely book again down the road.
