As night falls, retire to one of the comfortable bedrooms, each equipped with its own en-suite bathroom and TV. Kids will love the bunk beds in the oversized loft, perfect for sleepovers and late-night giggles.

Located in the heart of all the exciting North Georgia mountain activities, including downtown Ellijay just 10 minutes away, "Rock the River Lodge" offers access to an array of attractions. From mountain biking on the Pinhoti Mountain bike trail to hiking the scenic trails of Amicalola Falls, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

So pack your bags, gather the family, including the furry ones (yes, Rock the River Lodge is pet-friendly too!), and escape to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains for a vacation of a lifetime. Don't delay any longer - adventure awaits!

Within the Coosawattee River Resort you will have access to the Recreation Center, which includes:
An enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with 8-feet at the deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round.
A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones where they can splash & play in shallow water.
Off of the Recreation Center's lobby are the Fitness Center and Game Room. The Fitness Center is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Game Room is a coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.
The Recreation Center also has other outside attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.
A large covered pavilion at the Recreation Center for picnics.

*Memorial Day Weekend, Month of July, Labor Day Weekend, Leaf Season (October into early November), Thanksgiving and Christmas through the first week of January
*Two-night minimum stay during non-peak
*Three-night minimum stay for MLK, Presidents Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, entire month of October into early November.
*Four-night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Fun Quick Trip

Stayed at house for a quick trip to visit friends. House was extremely clean, had lots of amenities and location was great. Kids had a great time by the river and in hot tub. Looking forward to another time we can visit.

Our stay

Everything was very nice and clean, the house was full of activites. But one thing that i recommend, is updating the grill. It was clean, but the metal was rusty and wrapped in foil, which caught fire.

Great location and nice property!

We loved the house and the location inside the resort area. There are a lot of nice amenities, and the recreation center was nice. The house was clean and spacious, as well as stocked for regular needs in the kitchen and so forth. The outdoor area, the fire pit, deck and hot tub were nice too. The river views were nice! For those with mobility issues, the stairs to the river are daunting, itā€™s approximately 200 steep steps down, and took some of us a little bit of extra time to come back up from the river. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the property company was very responsive and very helpful the whole time. Ellijay downtown was only about 20 minutes away.

Great Spring Break Vacation

The house and neighborhood kept the kids entertained. We enjoyed the convenience of the location, but still private and relaxing. Our fur babies were able to come along, and they didnā€™t charge outrageous fees to have them there with us. Thank you for a great getaway.
