Featured in design magazines, the home is adorned with meticulously curated art and beautifully designed interiors, making it the perfect backdrop for milestone birthdays, graduation celebrations, and corporate retreats.

Every room exudes character, offering a blend of classic charm and contemporary style that caters to both relaxation and entertainment.

Whether you're visiting for a special occasion or an extended business stay, this townhouse provides an inspiring and luxurious setting for your time in Edinburgh. The townhouse is the perfect pied-a-terre for family dropping their adult children off at one of Edinburgh's many universities, or visiting for graduations.

The Townhouse can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children.

-Booking Requirements-
One member of the booking party must be over 30 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as proof of address and ID of the lead guest. This is required within 2 days of booking.
We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.

Our properties are protected by Truvi (previously known as SuperHog), the digital trust platform that enables Hosts, Operators and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rentals space.
Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself and process a £650 deposit. The damage deposit payment will incur a £10 fee. This Truvi verification must be completed two weeks prior to check-in.

- Important -
This property is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties, young single sex groups or parties.
We politely ask that the garden not be used after 9pm out of respect for the neighbours.


Layout

Step into this magnificent Edinburgh townhouse, where historic architecture meets modern luxury. High ceilings and expansive windows flood the home with natural light, highlighting the spacious and stylish kitchen, complete with a dining table for eight—ideal for hosting celebratory dinners for graduations or milestone birthdays. The property features four beautifully designed bedrooms, including one with two small single beds perfect for children. While the home comfortably accommodates up to six adults and two children, it is perfectly suited for special occasions, corporate stays, or family gatherings.

The twin bedroom is the old maid's room, and is accessed via steps up from the kitchen. This bedroom is only suitable for children as the beds are small singles.

The other three bedrooms are on the first floor.

Situated in Edinburgh's Stockbridge area, The Townhouse @ Stockbridge provides a peaceful retreat whilst being just a short distance from major tourist attractions and the vibrant city centre. Nearby local shops offer convenient access to essential amenities. Further, Edinburgh Fringe Festival's New Town locations on rose Street and George Street are a beautiful 30 minute walk from the property, or a quick bus or taxi ride. For corporate guests, business locations such as the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and many office spaces are a 30 minute walk via Edinburgh's picture-perfect Dean Village area, or a quick taxi drive away. The Townhouse is also the perfect location for Edinburgh University, Napier University, Edinburgh College of Art, and Herriot Watt University, for parents visiting their adult children, attending graduations, and helping with the move. This is the perfect city centre location for all guests.

A real high point of the property is that it features its own private, landscaped garden. Please contact the property manager to arrange a time to meet you at the property on arrival as there is no reception area or onsite staff to assist you if you arrive without notice.

2 stories, enormous ceilings, outstanding kitchen and a bedroom room /laundry “annex” that would be the envy of anyone needing to give some kids their own space and get some clothes sparkling clean …suitable for anyone looking for extreme comfort in one of the worlds best cities !

Highly recommend this townhouse- we had 6 adults and one infant. Location is excellent, and the walled garden was a treat. Walking distance to Botanical Garden, shops and local food coop yet quiet. Property manager arranged for hired van to meet us at Airport and made it much easier after red eye flight from the States.

Great place for our base camp to Edinburgh and nearby attractions. Very nice neighborhood. If you have a large SUV or Van parking is a challenge. We did find overnight parking at the end of the street.

The Victorian Townhouse was the perfect place for my family to spend three days and get to know Edinburgh. There was plenty of room for the seven of us and it was located close enough to main attractions to make getting around pretty easy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The garden out back was beautiful and a fun locale to have a few drinks. Our host was easy to contact and very responsive. The only regret we had on the whole trip was not being able to stay longer.

This is a beautiful property. Very relaxing and well-maintained. Close to Edinburgh's Old Town, but there are also a lot of amenities (grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.) within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

An outstanding choice for our family of six adults and two children under 4. The location is on a quiet street with easy access (under 10 minutes walk) to bus lines or about 25-30 minutes walk to new town and castle vicinity. The rooms are great, the kitchen well stocked with everything you need, and the living area very comfortable. Our day trips included Edinburgh Castle and old town, a train ride to the quaint harbor town of North Berwick, and short bus ride to Queensferry for a 90 minute boat ride.

We booked this house in Stockbridge for a special birthday family weekend. It looked lovely on the website but was better in real life. It was luxurious but with a very homely, comfortable feel. It was very well stocked in the kitchen. Where the house is in Stockbridge is very close to lots of cafes and restaurants and it’s easy to walk to the city centre. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely return. Karen the property manger was extremely helpful

Kudos to the owners and property manager of our beautiful townhouse in the Sturbridge neighborhood of Edinburgh! Beautifully decorated, well equipped, and ideally located it was certainly a 5 star accommodation. 8 of us (4 adults & 4 children) had a glorious week exploring Edinburgh and enjoying the 150th Open. Loved the proximity to the bus stop and a wonderful grocery store. (Btw, If you visit the grocery store, definitely use a cart. Amazing.) Also, our property manager was superb. We would definitely re-rent this location again if the opportunity should arise,

Our son and his fiance' joined us at a really nice time of year in Edinburgh. Our high expectations, based upon the VRBO listing, were satisfied - great location within easy walking distance of places we wanted to see; garage to park car,; spacious, clean accommodations for four. Overall we were very happy with our experience and would return. There were a few irritants (some probably US vs Scotland customs), they included: no wash cloths anywhere, only one towel per person; washer and dryer seem high quality but we couldn't avoid hanging things to dry even after hours in the dryer; inadequate lighting in the ensuite bathroom, and requirement to upload sensitive identity info as a condition of renting. Also we liked the "no shoes" in the house rule and the requirement to carry (not drag) luggage up the stairs was reasonable for us, but could be and issue for elderly/less physically capable guests.
