"Friendly staff, comfortable room, nice furnishings and pub situated in a pretty village. I was able to eat in the restaurant too. Although I think it was a little expensive. The continental breakfast was more than adequate but there was an extra cost for a cooked brekkie"

"We booked here because it’s close to Preston Park where we were going for a 2 day Thai festival. It’s reasonable priced too. It’s under new management and being renovated. We are more than pleased with the service we received. All staff were happy and helpful. The parking is in the hotel grounds and safe. The bar is relaxed and comfortable with good quality draft beer and drinks. The breakfast/restaurant area is well lit and layout is good. The free breakfast is very good quality,freshly cooked...
