"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. "The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"Absolute treasure. Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect. Staff super respectful and approachable. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. Breakfast was excellent....loved the banana and peanut smoothie. what a combo. And after a hard day's work, it was relaxing in the sauna/steam room& jaccuzzi. Planning on bringing a team of people for group bonding sessions.....with the vast green lands and lots of conference rooms and break out open...

"Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there."
