"I flew into Milwaukee on a delayed flight and arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM. I was told by the shuttle driver and then the front desk clerk that there were no rooms available. I gave her my reservation and she stated it was in her system. She then stated that the hotel allows bookings that exceed their room availabilities. She was trying to find another property that could take me in. There were none in the area. She asked me to find one on my own. I found a Holiday Inn 20 miles away. I...

"Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Accommodating. Informative. The property however failed to meet my expectations. The elevator was ridiculously slow, the elevator tile was soiled, cracked, and unmopped in days. The carpet on the 3rd floor outside of the elevator was HEAVILY soiled, bleach stained, deteriorated, and the pair of underwear and shorts laying on the ground just outside of the elevator doors for AT LEAST two days was appalling. "I did not feel that the room and common areas were remarkably clean. I noticed hair in the shower before we used it, and just general grime in the bathroom. The carpet also had spots. In the breakfast area, the cabinets were sticky and dirty. I opened them to find a plastic knife."

"I would not recommend this hotel. The ceiling above the shower was coming down, the towel holder in the bathroom was falling off the wall, the new flooring didn’t reach behind the toilet, a picture was removed from above the bed but the metal clips were still hanging there. And the batteries died in the card device of our room door so our security cards wouldn’t work. It was a Sunday and maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends.
