All of the workers I encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Without a car, food options were extremely limited. Shower drain was awful with about 5 inches of water in the tub by the end of shower.
There was a major humidity problem. I put clothes in closet and they became damp. I had to wear damp clothes to the airport. Surfaces in room felt damp, too.
Worst part was the airport shuttle. When I arrived on 8/9, II signed up for 4 am shuttle departure (I was told by desk person that MKE TSA check doesn't open until 4 am) on 8/11. I went out to the shuttle at 3:45 am and it was full. If I had to wait for it to come back, I would likely miss my 5:15 flight. If the list was full, they should have added another time - I would have gone at 3:30! Thankfully, one group of people said they would wait for the next shuttle because their flight was later, but the hotel staff had no help to offer. I even checked at the desk last night to make sure I was on the list for 4:00 am. At that time, they said there was another party on the list, so I think they had people trying to go who hadn't sighed up ahead of time. Anyhow, just VERY frustrating, so make sure you plan the shuttle a bit earlier than necessary.
